Actually, I think you need to amend this to say that you should only take what you deserve. If you aren't willing to work, you shouldn't be entitled to the fruits of another's labor.

I love when everyone tells you to go buy the forms and do it yourself, but I encourage you to contact an attorney. I don't know a local firm, but it's worth your while to find someone who specializes in trusts/estates. Everyone has different needs when it comes planning your estate so work with an attorney who can answer your questions, especially when it comes to deciding if you should set up a trust, how to deal with the taxes of your estate, etc.

Call your Plan Administrator (the Co. that administers the FSA) or call the Benefits person at your former employer. Be in a position to fax or email the receipts while you are on the phone with that person so that if they offer assistance, you can get it in their hands immediately.

We had a great time in our neighborhood last night -- our cul-de-sac gets together every year and builds a fire and we have dinner in the circle and the kids come and trick-or-treat around us. We didn't have any many kids as in past years, but it was fun and now I'm glad it's over.

But how do you know that the HCG worked? If he cut his diet down to 500 calories a day (which I agree can be done if you are supervised), that would promote a great amount of weight loss too, especially if he was also exercising.

I've never been simply because too many people complain about how crowded it is. It's just not worth it to me - if the princess wants candy that badly, I will take her to the store and buy it (and save the time, energy and frustration).

If you can't afford to buy a used car and pay cash for it, my suggestion is to do your research and approach your decision carefully. Alot of these places charge outrageous interest rates and inflate the price of the car. Look at the car, GO HOME and get the Kelley Blue Book value of the car and don't overpay for it. I would also recommend having a mechanic look at any used car before you buy it.

I would have given him TWO tickets, one for speeding and one for not using his brain. You call 911 and get an ambulance when you're having severe chest pains - no exceptions.

I'm really going to post an unpopular opinion. We currently do all of our banking at Bank of America (and have for well over 20 years) and we are going to continue to do so. For years, we have not had a service charge on our account (and we make interest on it). We've always gotten great service from them at both the Hiram and Douglasville branches. I'm not willing to give up that relationship.

Several women, including retail commerce members on this site.... Gap is NOT getting out of the U.S. market. They are merely closing stores that are not making money. They are a U.S. company and are going to stay in the U.S., but are opening stores in China because that is where the market is.

I'm just absolutely astounded. If the story had been strictly about the Gap laying off workers and closing stores, everyone would just say that they're a victim of the economy. BUT, just because they are also going to open stores in China (and apparently only because it's China), they're greedy? They are making sound business decisions. It makes perfect sense that if you have an underperforming store, you close it. If you see a market where your goods and services are needed, you go there. They expand to meet the growing need of their customer base (how many posts have we seen on p.com about people wishing that Old Navy would open here?). When the demands of the customer base are gone, staying open (and losing money) just to stay open is ridiculous. Would you expect a restaurant to stay open if it wasn't making a profit? Would you expect The Bookworm to stay open if they weren't making any money?

Greed? Just because they want to close unprofitable stores? In this economy, that's survival.
