I stopped eating potato salad when my inlaws served it hot and the potatoes were mashed (and there was enough mustard and celery seed in it to choke a horse). Bleck!

It is faith based. One of the rules I noticed was "no dancing."

I had two gallbladder attacks before I was diagnosed and went to see the surgeon. I had the surgery done on a Friday and I returned to work on Tuesday. I could have gone on Monday, but I had already scheduled the day off.

Or maybe her son will have a passion to help those in need because he grew up in that situation. We can't judge folks when they go through hardships. We don't know what that family is going through. We can either help or get out of the way in case other folks want to help.

Wow, those are fabulous prices for chicken breasts and pork chops - I will stop by on my way home!! Thanks for the info! -
We have never eaten inside, but I have picked up to go orders through the drive thru a couple of times. The food is good and the prices were good too. I'm glad to see more people are trying it and hope they make it!

Silly me, I thought foreclosures happened when people stopped paying their mortgages... -
It's illegal to reassign someone because of their race. The fact that the supervisor didn't immediately tell the father that the hospital has a policy of nondiscrimination and that they will not accommodate discriminatory requests makes me think that they didn't train the supervisor sufficiently on hospital policy. The nurse is right to speak up and this case will likely settle.

We've used Hamby's to service our septic tank - great folks!

I picked up to go orders from Dallas Seafood on New Year's Eve. It was pretty good for what it was - fried shrimp and french fries. The french fries probably came frozen in a bag and they just deep fried them. The shrimp was actually pretty good. It was $10.95 for a dozen good sized shrimp, fries and a drink. I didn't go inside, but it looked clean through the drive thru window. The next time hubby wants fried shrimp and doesn't want to drive to the Oyster Cafe - we will go back. As for Marietta Fish Market - I will NOT eat there again. On two different occasions, someone

lol - she's your mother, she will understand. Just tell her that it's hard to have someone in your home for three weeks, even someone you love.

That's a nice list, Miss Sophie, but if the MIL is getting on hubby's nerves, it's time for her to go home.

You can't say the word "bra"? It's not that hard to pronounce... -
I would think not, it could be considered insubordination.

It's a condition of employment - you violate it and you don't have a job. Simple enough.

The "holidays" are over - send your mother home.

I had morning sickness for the entire 9 months (up a few hours before my princess was born). Phenergran and zophran didn't really help, but it only got to the point of dehydration twice. I never left home without a small trash bag(s) in my purse and I became acutely aware of every spot where I could pull over safely on my commute to/from midtown Atlanta.

Lawsuit filed on Paulding deputy Brandon Howard

You are wrong. The county will be spending our money defending this case, regardless of whether it has merit or not. The feds have nothing to do with this lawsuit - they are not a defendant in this action. -

A quick check of pacer confirmed that for me. The officer has filed an answer to the complaint and now the case can go forward and waste our tax dollars... -

So how much will you settle for? That's a perfectly logical question to me. How long were you detained? An hour? So, how much do you make for an hour of your time? Maybe they could give you a $20 gift card for your trouble. But hey, I appreciate your filing a lawsuit and having the county spend my tax dollars defending it... -
What happened to the male doctor that was there? Did they finally get rid of him?

We're trying to decide what to get for the princess this year. She's a wiz on our iPad, but I'm just not ready to invest that much for a tablet for a 5 year old... The Kindle Fire looks like a good option, but I haven't checked out the android tablets yet.

No, that's not classy. It was rude and just flat out ignorant.
