House Dems 291 Repub 144 Senate Dems 61 Repubs 37 These numbers are majorities and basically the republicans didn't even need to show up. Filabuster proof. So yes, it is a democrat policy.

I'm just wondering if some of these people here on pcom even realize what the damage is in the long run. When a candidate gets slandered and lied about to the point where public life isn't an option anymore, why would a good person throw their hat in the ring? When they see the treatment others are giving our candidates, why would they? I believe the country looses longterm when the best candidates NEVER go for public office. Folks beat the candidates into the ground because they feel their lives must be destroyed so they won't get elected and then complain that there isn't anyone good run

Both came to by office and we had one on one time. After that, the only candidate who answered my questions in full and follow up questions was Todd. It really wasn't even close. Anyone who puts the two side by side can obviously see who is the most qualified and who they truly are going to represent. JMHO.
