  1. They could have but they must have rear ended each other after they passed the wreck. Usually that happens before the wreck. Oh well, whatever it was, it sure made a mess of Hiram-Sudie.
  2. I just came through there and I have to say, I can't figure that wreck out. Most are self explanatory when you pass them but this one baffles me. You have a red VW sedan hit in the rear in the east bound lane facing the entrance of Kingswood. About 200 feet up the road toward Hiram, you have two more vehicles on the shoulder and a blue Ford SUV in the driveway of a house. Further up the road about 300 feet, you have an older model pick up truck with its flashers on getting picked up by a wrecker. State Patrol behind that one and county vehicles assisting the other two areas. Was there a
  3. Those yungins wouldn't have a clue to who you were talking about.................
  4. Go back in your original post, hit edit, and then hit "use full editor". This should put you on the screen to change the original post. Edit at will.
  5. I for one, would love to see some of these candidates and current office holders to go on record saying they will roll back the millage when assessments go back up to keep our taxes balanced. Just like they are doing now. I seriously doubt anyone would have the gonads to do that.
  6. I'm not sure about this one. Let's say the rate increase is going to go through and 75% of us will not see an increase in our taxes. However, in a year or so when they decide to start reassessing our homes (AGAIN) are they going to roll back the mill rate to compensate for the high dollar amount we'll be forced to pay? Will the mill rate go down in a couple years if/when our properties start to increase in value again? Is that a legitimate question to get candidates on record NOW?
  7. Programs that are paid for with SPLOST can't be reallocated. Also, the fields were paid for by a special bond too. You can't just change the rules after it is voted in. Those allocated monies have nothing to do with police or fire protection. Find another source to complain about where the money can be reallocated. I am with you on the frustration part.
  8. Maybe so, but he's not qualified either. Too young with no real working world experience. He's never developed financial strategies with any merit and has never had to be responsible for other peoples lives. Not what this county needs. Good answers on a chat board can only go so far when his real life experiences don't bring any credibility.
  9. she doesn't seem too smart if family had to point it out to her on FB of all places.
  10. Don't worry. There is about 20000 acres of land regrowing trees over the past 3 years. They used to be subdivisions.
  11. I've seen a couple other "blog" sites refuting this but still searching for more information.
  12. Iran Dirty Bomb I have been hearing about this again lately and was wondering if anyone else knows about this? Knowing how Israel isn't "politically correct" in today's world, it would fit the norm for the world to cover up a direct attack on Israel by the militant muslims from Iran. This incident occurred a couple years ago so there should be enough time for proper information to leak out. Just curious.
  13. I dont' think Lowe's is responsible. They didn't do anything wrong. But you know these liberal days in a court room will award billions to someone who sues a clock manufacturer for a faulty alarm which caused them not to get up in the morning consequently missing an important meeting. Well, not a true story but we all know it could be.
  14. See, Israel doesn't play that politically correct war. They know who they want, they fire their missles, and destroy their target. Good for them. Wish America could have the balls to do that without the libs crying foul.
  15. I've always been a Mike Shannihan fan and this is more evidence why I lean his way. If our society had more men like this, maybe this new generation wouldn't be so demanding of everything given to them. Gotta love em. Talk about the doghouse
  16. Millions of gallons of oil come up from the ocean floor every year, naturally. Microbes eat this stuff when neccessary. It is a natural function of nature. Seems the spill couldn't have happend in a better place.
  17. Did this ever get as big as the media said it did? Where's the OIL?
  18. Where is your outrage against the federal gov't law that does the exact same thing? I don't recall you having any problems with that one.
  19. I hope people didn't think that this lawsuit wouldn't go all the way to the Supreme Court. It most certainly is. To the same bunch that the community orgaizer in the WH embarrassed before the whole nation. Remember what that idiot did? Americans will have to wait for true patriotism to be vindicated at the highest level. We can't allow a bunch of radical extremists from marxist backgrounds to destroy this country and say we can't defend ourselves.
