First off, I would thank the guy for not being a curbstoner. Those vehicles are a cancer on this community and a lot of those vehicles are sold with open titles. He is taking the high road by not engaging in that type of business. Second, I would just leave this guy alone. The new 'title tax' has come into effect and what used to cost only a couple hundred dollars to register cars now can cost in the thousands. This new tax is an economic affliction for car collectors who don't happen to be rich. I know guys who collect cars and just like to have them. They are letting their chil

Hmmm...where is the Food Depot?

Here are the two best plans at the moment. 1) MetroPCS http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/hot-deals/1184570/ 2) TracFone http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/hot-deals/1255021/ The TracFone will offer triple minutes and cost only $6.66 a month. My wife needs to call me once to twice a day and she uses that for this purpose. MetroPCS is perfect for unlimited talk/text. $25 a month. Can't beat it. Hope this helps...

What would possess you to be violent to your spouse?
macarose replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Let's twist this topic a bit. "What would make me violent with any human being?" 1) Illegal and/or dangerous behavior 2) Violent outbursts in the proximity of my family 3) Touching me or any member of my family the wrong way 4) Anyone who looks to be about to harm another human being 5) A weapon drawn or other action that requires self-defense I could go on. The obvious difference is that when it comes to a woman, you try to avoid any potential violence of any type. Men are more aggressive in general and make this ideal behavior less possible. In either instance the optimal out -
You're damn right. That's why I sell used cars.

A few dozen got caught, and I'm sure that well over a thousand towed the line. If we wanted to look out for these kids, we would offer all of them the opportunity to get a GED after the 8th grade. Throw in some private school vouchers and a few tons of well placed TNT wherever there is an association with the Atlanta Public Schools, and you would get some real progress in those classrooms. Oh before I forget. Give teachers the right to issue detentions and suspensions, and let the principals expel the troublemakers. If you draw some strong lines in the sands of discipline, provide amp

Congrats and my condolences... I always look forward to reading your thoughts. Enjoy the sunshine and please keep amusing us here. We're all the better for knowing you.

Sorry, but I can't stay silent on this one. The person who I believe this is referring to had only $400 to $500 to put down on a vehicle and wanted a Toyota or Honda. There was a Toyota Tercel and a Suzuki Esteem that I had sold earlier that week. She also did call me beforehand, but did not show up in person until about four to five days later. By then both of those vehicles had sold and the only other $500 down vehicles I had were a 2002 Chrysler Town & Country and an older Cadillac Deville. She does bring up one valid point. I am not there all the time. Between writing for

Huh? Are you serious? We don't elect the people that make the decisions. The decisions are made by special interest groups, corporations, various heads of government agencies, NGO's, PAC's, foreign entities that buy our debt and assets, a few influential unions, and a few hundred judges. You just get the illusion of involvement when you elect a politician.
-
For goodness sake. Even you realize how much of a stretch you made with this piece of pretzel logic. The drumbeat for war 10 years ago was not due to the unions being in favor of it. The reason was because the majority of Americans continue to be manipulated by a small cabal of special interests that only value their own agenda. Unions are increasingly ineffective and are only a small part of the mix. The military industrial complex. A political system that is bought via action committees, lobbyists and large corporations. Financial policies that penalize the passive savers and inflat

File criminal charges if there was malicious intent... really... I'm not saying this for my health.
-
Civil court: lawsuit for damages. Go and file it at the courthouse. Make sure to take pictures of all they left behind. Criminal court: vandalism. I would go the criminal route, and I'll tell you why. Most folks who engage in this behavior have little to any assets of their own. You sue them. The cost is $150, and you wind up with a $150 paper that is useless since they don't have any assets that are collectible under Georgia law. You go the criminal route, and an arrest warrant will be issued for the suspect. Once they land their axe in jail, they realize that you're not playing

We're in the process of canceling our old service. Is there anyone here who has a modem from C**cast that they are no longer using? It would save us plenty. Let me know if you have one available. All the best!

I can recommend Diamond Auto Painting in Smyrna. They do an even better job from my experiences.

I have a few vehicles that are in this range. Nothing fancy. Just older basic transportation... with an automatic. Feel free to reach me at P.com and I'll send you my phone number. All the best!

I believe I met him during the festival last year in Paulding. Super nice guy. God has some good company these days.

All the best to you Pubby. You are a super nice guy and I have enjoyed getting to know you over the past several years. Take it easy. Eat healthy. Exercise. And keep a positive frame of mind. All the best!

Not true. Not true at all. Not even remotely true.

I have a variety of good chairs and desks. The chairs are actually Dutch if I remember correctly with thing uphlstery, and I rarely use them. The wood is top quality. A few suggestions... Blue Chicken Auction is a great place. I can recommend them highly. The auction also has a neighboring thrift store which would be a good fit. Also, the auctioneer is an incredibly helpful and nice person who may be able to give a good lead. For example, thanks to her I got a virtually brand new dishwasher for $20, out the door, instead of the $200 to $400 you would have to pay at Home Depot and

47% on the government payroll? Not even the Greeks can lay claim to that!

Hmmm... I wonder if I take the eyeballs, brain and fleshy remnants of a cow head. Puree them in a blender. Dowse them with sugar cane juice and coffee. Nuke that for 3 minutes. Toss back in a blender again and puree. Throw in some red dye 40, and then put all of it in an old paint can and shake for 47 minutes in an old school paint shaker... Would it taste like Red Bull? If not, then what exactly is Red Bull?
