I personally think that if child support and any government support were tied to school attendance, our school drop out rate would be MUCH lower. I have no doubt that if my husband's ex's child support would have stopped when she let my step daughter quit school, the child at least have her high school diploma right now. The same goes for the government support that she got at the time. Instead, we had to pay child support on a 19 yr old person that was living at home and doing Nothing. Does anyone know why the traffic was backed up going northbound on hwy 92 at around 4:30 today? I know that it is normally a nightmare, but today it was backed up all the way to Hiram Suide Rd.. I turned on my scanner, but never heard anything related to this.

Do they offer anything that is not spicy? I am not a fan of spicy food, although my guys will LOVE it.

I personally would like to see more family friendly businesses in the Historic area and more family events in the warmer months. I would also like to know what you plan to do about the budget and taxes.

I didn't vote in the last election because we had not changed our address from when we moved in Sept.. I do live in the city limits and I want to have a say in what goes on where I live. I am interested to see who runs for the Mayor's seat.

The nail salon (Nails and Toes...I think is the name) next to Firehouse Sub was Awesome last Sunday. They were very kind. Engaged in conversation, was very meticulous with their services. There even gave DD some extra attention during her pedicure. We will Definitely be back.

Where is a good restaurant to enjoy a good traditional New Years Day meal....collards and black eyed peas? DH and I ate at one of the former commerce members a couple of years ago and had the BEST collards and black eyed peas But unfortunately, the economy took its toll on this restaurant.

I got one for Christmas from my hubby and kids. I LOVE mine. I had never thought of having one, but now that I have it, I would not give it up for anything. I ordered my screen protector and case from Amazon.com. I got both for right at $30...not bad. I ordered them Monday night and should have my case by Friday. Being that my eyes are not the best in the world, the larger screen is WONDERFUL. I am looking forward to downloading the books that I am reading with my students on it so that I free up another hard version for one of them to use.

That is Awesome. One of my fondest Christmas memories during my college years was when I was attending a church on the edge of Cabbage Town in Atlanta and we went caroling throughout the neighborhood one year. I had no clue how dangerous it was until years later, but it was well worth it. I would love to get some carolers or better yet go caroling next Christmas.. I have to admit that the dog could probably sing better than me...LOL.

This is soooo wonderful!!!!!! I have to say that I have been the happiest I can remember being, at this time of the year, since I lost my mom when I was helping with Hope for Christmas a few weeks ago. I could honestly care less about the gifts, I enjoy seeing others being happy.

My son is me in male form....no doubt about that. I'm told that my daughter looks just like me as well, but I don't see it as much as I do my son. I see a lot of my husband ,and oddly my mom, in her. At the same time, there is no doubt that my kids are siblings and have me in common.

Just curious, where did you find the troop finder form? My Ker is showing interested in joining Girl Scouts as well.

I am in desperate need of gift suggestions for my in laws. They are in their 70s, doing okay financially, get what they want when they want it kind of people. They live in the Huntsville AL area. Last year, we got them general gift cards so that they could use them when are where they wanted to. I found out yesterday that they still have those gc. Needless to say, we don't want to get them another one if they still have last year's. They don't eat out much so that is not an option. Neither of them have any hobbies to speak of. I am at a true loss.

I have quiet a bit of ceramic tile in my home. How does the Shark do on that type of floor? I have a couple of older poodles that don't always make it out side to do their potty thing so I'm looking for something that will get and keep the grout and such clean. I also have hardwood floors right off of the ceramic tile so finding something that would work great on both will be a God send for me.
