  1. Excuse the spelling but I'm thinking Carrino's.
  2. Just a quick note of encouragement. Loaded an 8 x 16 trailer with brush 9' high off the bed. Got to load it right where I cut it. Strapped it down to about 6', off to the dump where it was unloaded right around the trailer and just driven away from. Cost $13 dollars and saved $150 dollars worth of back pain.
  3. Swing broke. Rocker creaks. Front porch sags. Back porch leaks. Best to just stay in the house.
  4. Stands to reason that the only thing that shows itself not to be functioning correctly would be the most likely culprit. If the meters showing flow back and forth and there is good pressure that shouldn't be happening. I'm betting meter.
  5. Dear lord your right, please chalk that up to a senior moment. I did mean Bullet Liner. Everything I said was actually about them. It's been two years and it's still like new. Liked it enough that I went and found a used Lowe's low profile tool box and had the guy at Bullet shoot that too. The bed and the box look great together.
  6. Did it year before last. Did all the shopping and research and decided on Rhino Liner, The local shop is behind Pirate Printing on Bill Carruth. Price, service, all of it. One man operation, so the guy that takes your order will be the one making sure its done right.
  7. One last thing and I promise to let this go. This is kind of a PSA anyway. The release says that the City is acquiring the easement. Which according to the plan sheet is a small strip on the NW side of the intersection. Folks, when you sign an easement you are not selling property. What you just signed gives the government entity permanent use of property you still own and will continue to pay taxes on forever. If someone pushes an easement at you unless your just an upstanding citizen ready to go above and beyond, never, EVER sign it. Make them acquire the right of way.
  8. 1 light standard (think pole with integrated arm) can go for better than $35,000 for a signalized intersection. That is not inclusive of the accompanying equipment. There would be three at this intersection. This is a quick response project which (used to mean, I'm retired) means a project that could be completed for less than $50,000, all of which was funded without federal assistance. No federal assistance eliminates a great many accessibility requirements (think braille buttons on a drive up atm).
  9. The first part may be true, the second part absolutely isn't. I've built both and the cost to signalize an intersection is three to four times more. Plus the ongoing maintenance of the equipment. Although thats been reduced some by the switch to camera actuated as opposed to magnetic loop.
  10. Sorry forgot to include that if theres no leak showing up in the house and the meters good, then the leak is most likely between the house and the meter. If theres no wet spot in that shows up in that section, then I'd wait to see the next bill. Maybe it was a one time meter reading issue. If you have that big a leak water will show up somewhere eventually.
  11. The plumber was talking about a check valve. Its a device that keeps water already in your part of the system from returning back into the utilities system. The last I knew, and this most of a decade old, those were only required as a retro-fit on commercial services. That would mean, to me, alledgedly, perhaps, that the water department might have been trying to tell you that the first plumber was trying to rip you off. Just like me here they were being very carefull how they said it. Of course this is all an opinion based on an inference surrounded by conjecture.
  12. Good luck! Animal Control or Marshalls might be good contacts for you Thank you for your effort. You are obvously an upstanding citizen who understands and plays by the rules. But this reminds me of an old movie quote. "Badges? We dont need no stinkin' badges!"
  13. Dear Chucklehead, Whoever you are that thought the way to go is to acquire yourself a rooster to bring home to a fully developed residential area. Understanding fully that since we live in an unincorporated area that you are most likely within your legal rights, it is entirely possible to stay within those rights while causing otherwise good people to contemplate bad acts. I truly hope that your country enough that you got this thing to eat. But since you got it late last week and Sunday has come and gone, chances are your just a chucklehead that thought to his or her self at one point "Well
  14. http://www.rawstory.com/2016/09/watch-georgia-gop-county-chairman-secretly-caught-making-racist-comments-about-black-candidate/ Trying again.
  15. Found this. http://www.rawstory.com/2016/09/watch-georgia-gop-county-chairman-secretly-cau-about-black-candidate/ This is beyond stupid. That being said, I have met the man regarding county business on several occasions. I know him to be genuinely concerned about his county and all its citizens. But this is just tone deaf and he's probably done.
  16. Big do'ins all around last night. Don't know what for, but multiple sirens running up Nebo and all stopping somewhere near ingles around midnight.
  17. Granted. But even if they can put a drive thru window in, it's gonna be tough convincing folks to drive thru there, least it will be me. They do pretty good traffic thru the one they have. Man I hate losing my Q joint at the end of the road.
  18. Noooooooo!!!!!!Why in the world would they move to a place you can't get in and out of?
  19. Went by West Metro for a shop and snoop. Apparently grandad didn't care for retirement. Usual reasons.
  20. Kr___r packs in nitrogen, don't know what all else. Quick side question, whats the deal with West Metro. They were out of business and the next thing I saw it open, Same folks, meat, etc. ?
  21. Invitations out in the mail to join a neighborhood based social networking site. You would probably want to read the reviews you can find online first. Also note that the invitation comes with an access code that is keyed to your address. Looks and sounds a lot like a new way to phish.
  22. Lots of times are they not only arguing apples and oranges, folks will actually argue with themselves.
  23. Amazing how many arguments around here are over apples and oranges. For the most part, one side is talking about a loan the proceeds of which is used to pay off existing balances and is administered by a third-party who takes a fee. So you end up paying interest and a fee. Neither of which hurts your credit, just your wallet. The other is talking about actual credit counseling that negotiates reduced terms, which results in a write off which does affect credit.
  24. Quicksand heh? Wish I had one. Then at least I'd know where my sex life disappeared too.
  25. Rip off alert!!!!!!! Anything along that line that is for profit is a rip off waiting to happen. They're designed to lure in desperate people who are clutching at straws to keep from drowning. First you're gonna need some self control. If you're unwilling to cut up the cards, then put them in a zip lock bag full of water and put them in the freezer. You can still get to them (eventually), but it provides a cooling off period. See what I did there....cooling off....freezer......never mind. Every month lay out the credit card bills. Pay as much as you possibly can on the highest interest
