  1. James Arness outlived his younger brother, Peter Graves. I guess that goes to show you that rough cowboy life will add more years to you than running a secret mission crew. My mom had a crush on Tom Selleck. She shocked me when she said "he can put his shows under my bed anytime." My dad looked like James Garner to me.
  2. So I guess they'll be going from Hiram on Thursday afternoons, 92/120 on Friday afternoons, and downtown Dallas on Saturday mornings.

  4. If you have a GPS in your car, do NOT put your home address in it. Put another location that's close by if you need to. People have been known to steal a car and use the GPS to get to the owner's house and use the garage door opener to open up the house and disarm their alarm.
  5. "That's right, the first Friday in June is when donut shops large and small throw open their doors and start handing out those dough-y bits of goodness...for free!" Now I wonder if there will be a spike in crime on Friday with all of the cops busy at the donut shops. Note to self: Don't even think about robbing the Krispy Kreme.
  6. I think the government would like to legalize it so they could tax it.
  7. Are they still having the Dallas Farmer's Market at the corner of 92 and 120 on Friday afternoons as well?
  8. The teeth in the Georgia law is primary regarding the E-Verify that employers must use. The US Supreme Court has already ruled on that piece (e-verify) of the Arizona law as being constitutional. It's about time Georgia took a stand for Georgia taxpayers in helping to stop the abuse of our hospitals, schools, and other services.
  9. Does it take a brain surgeon to know that the paper GOES OVER THE TOP of the roll if and when you change it?????!!!!!!

  11. Hmmm. I'm still able to pull up all of the tax records for people on our street. https://paulding.paytaxes.net/customer/enhanced_property_tax_search.php Also, you can get similar information from www.zillow.com web site. It shows all kinds of public record/information there.
  12. Especially bad when that happens at a dental hygienist office.
  13. I hate those furry toilet lids covers. In the middle of the night you don't know if its up or down until its too late.
  14. When I'm beside myself I can elbow myself in the ribs.
  15. I, for one, am proud that Georgia has decided to fight the illegal immigration issue head on. Shame on the Federal government for not doing its job. As far as the economy, there are jobs out there, I get offers all the time, many with signing bonuses. But I'm happy where I'm at. BTW, where's zoo to tell us that everything's going to be okay and the economy is really improving?
  16. It seems if you had done something physical to them back when it happened, you might have felt better about it all and would have been out of jail by now.
  17. "I was speaking to an emergency room physician this morning. He told me that a woman in her 20s came to the ER with her 8th pregnancy. . She stated, "my momma told me that I am the breadwinner for the family." . He asked her to explain. She said that she can make babies and babies get money for the family. It goes like this: The grandma calls the Department of Child and Family Services and states that the unemployed daughter is not capable of caring for these children. DCFS agrees and states that the child or children will need to go to foster care. The grandm
  18. Sorry, but this is the mentally that we're up against.
  19. A few hours after this receipt was posted on the internet, Fellowship of the Minds received an e-mail from David DiCrescenzo of AmericanPatriotsPress.com, informing us that he wrote on exactly this same food stamp abuse about 10 days ago. Mr. DiCrescenzo called Angeli’s County Market and spoke tothe manager, Dan Bursik, who confirmed the purchase. Yeah, Obama's first executive order was to take steak and lobster off of the food stamps banned items list. Such items were never purchased with food stamps in the history of the program prior to Obama's inauguration.
  20. It's bad decisions like this that probably got them in the condition of need food stamps in the first place.
  21. I hope he uses this opportunity to LERN to drive.
  22. In the movies you've watched recently, how many people stay until after the credits have scrolled to see the last final scene? When we watched Pirates this weekend, we were 2 of 4 who stayed to see the last scene that everyone else missed. Do you stay to see the last scene? [Didn't Ferris Bueller teach you anything?]
