Let's go at it from this angle - how many of you does PSD owe lunch to?

I think I would not be too scared if you can go to the lender's office and make payment and they give you a bill of sale. I would probably shy away from sending off paperwork and hoping that things worked out.

One other hint on Toyotas - each body panel and engine block has a VIN tag on it - this can let you know if the vehicle has been involved in an accident. how about one of these: http://images.google.com/images?q=wienermobile&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&ei=R6B-S4OOK4a0tge7tPi_Dw&sa=X&oi=image_result_group&ct=title&resnum=4&ved=0CB4QsAQwAw -
How many bad police officers does it take to beat up a woman?
FreeBird replied to ITMFA's topic in RECENT TOPICS
being drunk and in 'cuffs can really do a beating if you fall on your face. I think I would have used pepper spray to get her to shut up and comply -
for large scout functions, I normally purchase from Costco

Fred-O - exactly - pick your battles. It took me until college (learning that the professor was always right) to realize that proving your point is pointless when there is no value in being "right." I am sure the lady did run her mouth and have attitude. The officer probably jumped the gun too soon taking her down and throwing the 'cuffs on her. Her situation should have been explained (run along or go to jail) better and I bet she would have moved on.

the Andy Griffith show had an entire episode on "unlawful assembly." Seems Barney went over the deep end again...
-
did you read the article? If the officer's report is true, then there was more than a simple "why?" involved.
-
According to the details provided by the officers, the lady had a typical attitude of disrespect. Proper response is "yes, sir" unless you want to go up against "the man."

mine have to earn "screen time" - Xbox, PSP, computer, TV, etc. - anything with a screen is a earned privilege.
