off the top of my head I can think of 4 fatality accidents on Dabbs Bridge over the last 5 years. I doubt the October fatality affected any patrolling by the SO. They routinely show up every few months to enforce the rules of the road.

Looks like Fire Station #11 is bidding again
FreeBird replied to feelip's topic in Paulding County NEWS
as an updated, station 11 began taking calls 12/1/09. A needed service for the NE end of the county for many years, my home area now has service of two stations that are less than 6 miles drive time, which is very good news. -
Our elf, Charlie, has not shown up yet. A few years ago he had a very mischievous streak and TP'd my youngest son's room (at night while he slept) because he had been mean to him the previous day. That event is still talked about around my house.

They make the rounds on the DBR freeway every few months are so. That is what I expect from a Sheriff that places patrolling our streets and enforcing traffic laws of high importance. I did see one truck pulled over by two officers and then saw SO 146 and K-9 Grizz heading to the scene. Probably for a drug search.

I think it is very nice. When will we get to critique the other assignment?

I guess it just depends on the definition of what a "pro" is. Are American soccer players any different than professional footballers in Europe and around the world.

HIA - thank you for the informative post. One other topic that might be of interest to PCOM readers is what items in an normal homeowner's policy are not covered with regards to all water related disasters.

After being a customer of IBM SEFCU for 25 years, I have not had trouble with them. I guess I am a little bias as they are also a customer of mine. My only gripe is that a few months ago go they changed online bill pay software or provider. It now takes two days for a payment to go out. That is nonsense - it is all electronic and should go out right now if that is when I want it to go out and how the old system worked. I guess all the data is pushed to a provider that then processes it the next day and reports back results the following.

What we need is a GOB network that we can all be proud of - where is Tom Murphy when you need him? -
Lifetime maximum is another important item in a plan.

Help me understand this about the Tiger Woods event.

"Woods’ wife told Windermere police she used a golf club to smash the back windows to help him out." So she rushes to the wrecked vehicle and find the doors locked. She, runs back to the house to grab golf club. (I am assuming that she does not normally rush out the door with her golf club and has to return to the house for the "tool".) Comes back to the car (after grabbing golf club instead of second set of keys or calling On-Star to unlock the vehicle), decides to go after the rear, tempered glass window. Breaks it out and then climbs into the vehicle to unlock it. Bear in mind -

I would think they would know the DUI angle based on the reports/toxicology (if ordered at that time) from the hospital. For DV, they just want to talk to them to see if they will slip up - they won't at this point after having the $1000/hr attorney on the case. Fleeing from the truth will only tarnish his image. Okay - I'll say it - they are after him because he is black. -

no - in some states, if an officer hears of an offense ('me and my old lady were arguing about money and she slapped me for calling her a bitch') then the old lady goes to jail no matter what the man says. The state presses the charges in an effort to curb the next time when the old lady gets a pistol to settle the dissagreement. -
