A Weber is a good grill and they last for a very long time if they are cared for properly. They cost much less and they are proven charcoal grills. Just think, you could buy four or five Weber's to one BGE or any of the other ceramic cookers.

There is another one to consider, the Primo Oval. It is also a Kamado style grill but, is more versatile and is made in the USA. In fact, it is made in Tucker, Ga. The BGE is made in Mexico, only the company is based in the USA. Food for thought...pardon the pun.
