I use powder in my washer, completely dussolve it before adding laundry. It's a 15 yo Maytag and I won't replace her until she is truely dead, that machine is great, but not the newer ones. We bought Bosch dishwasher after having two crappy ones before that. I love it, it is a bit smaller than the Whirlpool and GE we had, but not too much. The Bosch is soooo quiet.

I just found out yesterday that my dog has a heart murmur in addition to cancer. It was his coughing that made the vet listen for a murmur.

I'm so happy for you and your buddy that he does not have cancer. We actually found out this morning that my 16 year old Italian Greyhound has cancer. He has probably 15-20 lumps on his body and face that are really melanoma's. As long as he is still getting around okay, eating and drinking, we will just do wound care. Vet said it may only be a few months, but you never know it could be longer. I hope so.

Congratulations!!! Life is good.

Dang, you are very observant. That's about the time I was out going to Home Depot for sand. My well meaning, genius, but not thinking hubby decided to drain the water off the pool cover and iced over part of our cul de sac. /smh/

Yep, that's where I heard it, just don't remember the channel since I constantly change it. lol

I love that song, heard it on the radio earlier today.

This may come across as cruel to some, but this is as close to human euthanasia as we can get. This little girl has been declared brain dead and is deceased, this is the opportunity to offer her the dignity she deserves to let her body pass on in peace. My heart breaks for this family, and I pray that I or someone I love never have to face a situation like this one.

You do realize that we domesticated them and pretty much took away all wild instinct and survivability. You are not a Neanderthal man/woman no more than they are wolves and tigers. The decent thing to do would be to provide adequate shelter for them if you refuse to care enough to bring them in the garage or shed, at the very least.

You said the tag was covered, but what about the front? Could there have been a plate of some sort there, such as a favorite football team or logo or something along those lines? How about decals on the front or rear windows that might help someone recognize that particular vehicle. I was out today and saw two vehicles like this one and it just made me think about these questions.

Oh, well then who ever it belongs to will know the PIN. I hope you can find the owner.
-
Is there a number on the card you can call just to see if even has money loaded on it? That is another way you can verify the owner, they should know how much is on it. Oh yes, and thank you for being an honest person.

There is a store on South Cobb Pkwy in Smyrna, Adventure Outdoors, I believe that's the name. My DH bought his gun there and they were fairly priced with a decent selection.

Hmm, I need to read more about this story. I knew of at least one court order. Do you know the reason the judge would extend the life support?

I believe they are simply having a hard time saying goodbye. I can not imagine this happening to one of children. For this family, my heart breaks, but at some point they will realize or accept that she is gone and only her body remains with machines keeping it alive. It's unlikely the hospital or the insurance will continue to pay for the care and I doubt the family will have the means to do so long term. When they are ready, will have the machines turned off. I believe they just want to keep fighting a system that is ready to move forward while they are not yet ready. We, as parents, are nev

I hope your cousin is on the way to a full recovery and I'm sorry that something like this happened. I just don't understand what makes people do things like this to other people.

Where on Ridge Rd did this happen? Curious since I live off that road. I really hope the little punk(s) get what's coming to them when the law finally catch up with them.

We spent a bit less this year, thankfully, and paid for it with cash. We have been fortunate enough to that for the last several years and I am so very grateful that we are able to do it that way, much less stressful. We got a new toaster and a blender from the kids. DH and I are buying ourselves a new mattress before too long. That is our gift to each other and goodness knows it's time, the one we have now we bought sixteen years ago.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all! Now I need to get back to my jam making and then I need to make some peanut brittle, making it for my neighbors for Christmas.

I'm getting ready to go to the ceramic shop now. They messaged me back and said they have them and, Lawlady, you're right, they are reasonable, 100 for $5. So thank you to everyone who helped me out!!!!

I just sent messages to both the craft cottage and the ceramic shop in Hiram. Funny thing, the one in Hiram that I "thought" only did craft parties, had tones of pictures of the tree and lights on the FB page. Hopefully, they will sell the little lights separately.

I've never heard of the place, I will call them this morning. Thank you.

Thank you all. I will check again at Michael's, maybe I just over looked them. As far as the ceramic shop in Hiram, I will give them a call, but I "think" they only do the crafty parties, but I've been wrong before. Momof3, thank you for your offer, I have the multi colored birds and some of the holly looking ones. I just want to see what else is out there that might be a little different. I did find some snowman looking ones online, but I would like to see them in person. They looked really cute. ETA: Momof3...17 trees, that's awesome!! Are they all different sizes? Mine are small, medi

Does anyone know where I can find these locally? I know I can order them online, but I really would like to find a place so I can go and look at them. I have three trees and one of them is in need of some more "lights". I have never seen them at Michael's or Joann's. Is there a ceramic shop anywhere? Thanks.
