I've got no problem with it, grew up with parents that smoked. I've had plenty of friends and SOs that smoked. Only thing I've ever objected to is someone trying to get a kiss after just finnishing a cigg...pop a breath mint and better luck next time. I've smoked before, I can smoke an entire pack in a night and not want any the next day....I guess I never learned how to inhale correctly I appreciate people not smoking in restaurants, but I don't care about outside. If it bothers me, I move. If smokers want to smoke in thier own house or car, let them. They are paying for it, not you.

lol....well the main character's car is a yellow camaro with black stripes...and it's name is bumble bee, lol. I guess I could have explained that one a little bit better.
-
Thats to bad, that usually gets me thinking about what I could do in traffic if I had a car that could transform like that. I go from Kennesaw to Woodstock for work so I get my fair shair of igmos.

Anytime I see a new camaro that is yellow with black stripes I really have to resist the urge to roll down my window and yell "BUMBLE BEE!!!!!" at it. Anyone else?

I usually tip 50-80 bucks. Unless the tat was less than 100 bucks....which has happened 1 time out of 11.

Hand-in-hand British musician & wife commit suicide together
ram0265 replied to westside family's topic in RECENT TOPICS
As long as they have the correct facts about thier conditions and are still sane, I think people should be able to make the desicion if they want to take thier own life rather then prolong it while living with a disease. -
Sometimes it does seem like they are over staffed but I was doing a sit in at 911 last year during the gas crisis and they had all deuputies double up. Calls to one area of the county kept coming in, but there was no one to send. So they had to wait until an officer was available and it wasn't just a 15 min wait either. So it seems that if you take away one officer's ability to get to a call( either by doubling up, or not having that person employed) things can't get covered.

anyone else read the Sookie Stackhouse Series?
ram0265 replied to dporter1183's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I've read all of the books about 4 times now. The books are 10 times better than the show. The show has taken alot of liberty and changed tons of stuff and events. Sookie's character is much better in the books too. Also wanted to add that I'm very sad that the next book in the series doesn't come out till 2010 The one that is coming out in Oct is just a collection of short stories. -
I thought that was just by county not state? I also was told that it does not apply in city limits or school zones.

You can try craig's list too. I sold my viola in half a day, but I also wanted less than half of what other people did.

Boston Zoo budget cut might result in the animals being eauthanized
ram0265 replied to ram0265's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I'm not saying that its not a scare tactic but I think it is thier reality. I think they are trying to get public support to help overturn the budget cut. There is no way that an entire zoo can rehome all of thier animals. There just isn't enough room or money to do that. -
Boston Zoo budget cut might result in the animals being eauthanized
ram0265 replied to ram0265's topic in RECENT TOPICS
http://www.boston.com/news/local/massachus...s_doors/?page=1 There is the link to the actual story in the Boston Globe. If they keep to the 2.5 million budget then they are expecting to run out of money by Oct. Then they will lay off the 165 workers and try to find homes for about 1,000 animals. They say that they won't be able to find homes for about 20% of the animals. The state would then have to take over and in about 3 years could have the zoos completly shut down at an estimated cost of 9 million. The zoo is willing to cut all nonanimal related budgets, which means a bare bones staf -
Boston Zoo budget cut might result in the animals being eauthanized
ram0265 replied to ram0265's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I'm sure the animal keepers will do the best they can, but they are short 4 million dollars. If every city is in that type of economic trouble then they won't be able to take on the animals either. Selling to private owners is a bad idea just in general. What choice does that leave them? -
http://news.aol.com/article/boston-zoo-cou...-close%2F567193 I hope the link works, but Boston has cut its funding to its zoo by 4 million dollars(6.5 approved, cut to 2.5). At this point they are considering euthanizing the animals. And even worse is the zoo runs out of money it becomes the responsibility of the state, which could cost up to 9 million to shut it down. You think it will ever come to this at Zoo Atlanta?

That smell was there last summer too. We assumed someone had fertilized thier lawn.

I think thats the one that is sitting in a charger actually....What I remember most about that remote is that 2 years ago my dad gave one to my grandparents for christmas. He spent the entire day back in the bedroom cussing at the remote trying to program it.

So my parents left for a cruise this morning, I'm watching the house and all of the animals while they are away. I now have a huge flate screen HD costs losts of money tv to watch. Except......I CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO MAKE IT WORK!!!!!!! No joke I counted 7 remotes, 7! One of them even lights up and has to go back in a charger. I'm still trying various combinations of power buttons and what not but so far not getting the intended result. How hard is it to have one remote that does everything and only have to push the power button? I'm about to just go up to my old bedroom a

If you don't like it then don't listen or don't read it. I'm sure everyone does that with other bands. I even heard a guy on the radio the other day after an interview with Manson describe him as just a regular guy with a really good halloween costume.

It also looks like they stole some of the moves from an aerobics class.

There used to be an indoor one in a business park on 278, but I'm not sure if its still there. I know there is one outdoors at Swift Cantrell Park in Kennesaw...but that would be about 40 mins from dallas. That doesn't help a whole lot but that all I got

The thought of having to take a driver's ed course with some of the kids i went to school with kinda scares me. We had one person crash into the tennis courts, and another one actually hit someone in the parking lot(not hard) then went inside like nothing happened. I'd rather have an actual driving course instead of an online class, what does that really teach. Is reciting what your supposed to do in a situation going to help?
-
Maybe you can slowly earn the money for the class back when he gets a discount on insurance for taking it.

Sometimes it isn't about right or wrong...its about what can be proven in court.

PCSO seeks information on Saturday night shooting
ram0265 replied to gpatt0n's topic in Paulding County NEWS
As for gangs in Paulding County....I've seen quite a few houses spray painted with grafitti and gang symbols. We had the gang unit from Cobb County come talk to my juvenile justice class when I was in school and they showed some disturbing things: A picture of a 11 year old girls bedroom. Her mother didn't believe she was doing anything wrong, that she was a good girl. From the floor to the window sill the girl had a list of all the gang members and sexual things she had done with them. They showed a group picture of a church youth group (8-10 yr olds). One little boy had been there -
Have they said how long they intend to have the new program?
