  1. I've thought the same thing that it was horrible to have her out there in the sun. I also can't imagine what the child must think. You know how when you are little (and sometimes when your older) - you don't want to stand out if there is something different about you. Yet, she is out there on the side of the road for everyone to see her all the time. I wonder what that is doing to her emotionally? The other thing I've wondered is --- how much are they making by being out there? It seems like one of the parents could work on the weekends and maybe make more than what they make by having h
  2. I don't think she planned to hurt him - if she did do it (which I think she did) ---- I think it was an accident. I think he did something that she didn't like and she went too far in punishing him. She has now somehow justified the whole thing in her mind, but they are afraid she is going to unravel.
  3. My feeling is --- that he did something that really ticked her off. My first thought was that maybe he had an "accident", but I don't have children so I don't know if that age might have that happen or not. I also thought maybe he forgot something or said something that made her mad. I don't think it was premeditated - I think she got mad and hit him and it got out of hand. I'm still not 100% sure they were actually even at the school. I think he did something and she just snapped. If they were there - she dragged him out of there because she was so mad at him. Planned to have a "little talk"
  4. I can't figure out how to post pictures on here from a computer --- so --- look at this photo of Susan Smith and then look at the photo of the stepmom with the other family members. Notice how the body language of Susan Smith and Terri Horman are oddly similar. The mother, father and stepfather are all looking upward and Terri is looking down. Same exact thing in the Susan Smith photo. (click a few more pages into the story and there is another shot of her looking down). In both photos - the husband is stoic and troubled, but looking ahead - the wives meanwhile are clinging and looking downwar
  5. She was being questioned again because her telephone records place her 5 miles away from where she said she was when she reported him missing. She reported him missing and then wrote on Facebook that she was going to the gym. Updated story below: Public speculation has run wild as Kyron Horman’s family releases a new statement. Terri Horman was the last person to see Kyron and as the investigation continues many question Terri Horman’s story, her reaction, her lack of involvement in the search for Kyron and even question the new statement. In the statement, the family says that this wi
  6. There will be no putting up with her after all of this....
  7. I found a shoe stomping and then flushing them down the toilet gets rid of them pretty quickly.
  8. http://www.philrobinsontaichi.com/index.html Was wondering if anyone has heard of this place or ever been. Sounds interesting. I've done videos, but would love to find an actual class. Thanks~
  9. At this point you have done all you can do - so you need to just step back from the situation and stay off the roller coaster. Here, I am no longer in touch with my friend that was abused. The rest of the story for her is....she left the one husband and basically married another one just like him. I sometimes think it is an illness - just like someone that does drugs or is an alcoholic. Low self-esteem and a desire to be loved at any cost.... Just know that you did the right thing --- and if she calls you and wants to start something about it - you just need to cut off contact with her and
  10. Unfortunately, these men are very manipulative and they are able to convince the woman it is their fault, or she will lose the children or he will kill them all or.... Usually, they systematically make it where the woman has no one to turn to. He talks her in to quitting her job, then he doesn't like her friends. Something happens to her car and she can't go anywhere without him. Then he works to cut off contact with her family. It is very much like a person who is kidnapped, but then when they could - doesn't try to escape. They make the woman so dependant on them that they can't function
  11. http://abc.go.com/ You can watch both episodes from the season finale here!
  12. Contact the seller and see if they have a trackig number for it. Also - check their feedback and see if others have had problems with them or if this is a fluke. If the feedback is good and they respond right away --- then it may be the post offices fault. If feedback from others is bad --- contact them and if you don't hear something by Monday --- file a dispute with eBay. Hopefully you paid with PayPal and if so - you have buyer protection.
  13. They also said the school board is exploring the possibility of four day weeks. (This was on WSB this morning)
  14. I was wondering who people switched over to after Doctor Wehunt's office closed. If you have found someone else who did you choose? What do you think of your new doctor? What is the wait time like and do you like the staff? I am overdue to get some bloodwork done and need to find a new doctor, but don't know any on the list Donna gave us. Thanks for the help!
  15. YES! Thank you!!!! Except this one is bubblegum pink!
  16. I keep seeing it, but have no clue what kind of car it is???? I have been trying to tell my husband about it --- anyone know the little car I am talking about and what kind of car it is? (it looks so small --- I told him that you could probably just park it next to your desk when you arrive at work!) I WANT ONE....IN PURPLE!!!!!! Thanks!
  17. Here is the definition of plagiarism as defined by Wikipedia: Plagiarism, as defined in the 1995 Random House Compact Unabridged Dictionary, is the "use or close imitation of the language and thoughts of another author and the representation of them as one's own original work."[1] Within academia, plagiarism by students, professors, or researchers is considered academic dishonesty or academic fraud and offenders are subject to academic censure, up to and including expulsion. In journalism, plagiarism is considered a breach of journalistic ethics, and reporters caught plagiarizing typica
  18. 95% of the time it works great. 5% of the time it is hard for me to hear someone or them to hear me - but still well worth the cost and the amount of money we are saving by having no landline. Oh...I did have a bit of trouble getting it loaded on the computer - but there is a phone number you can call --- and as soon as I called it --- they did something on their end and a couple of minutes later - everything was working.
  19. Play Farmville! No, seriously! I have a friend that made her farm into a Oriental type garden. She said she finds it very meditative to tend to the trees, plant crops,etc..
  20. I don't know what the noise ordinance is, but if you are in a subdivision I do know there is one. One of my clients had animal control visit because her dogs were barking too loud. I guess for me - you kind of have to reverse the situation. If your neighbor had a band practicing at 2 am in the morning - would you call the police? People that work nights - should be able to sleep in their own houses without hearing drumbeats and guitar runs. As for going over to the neighbors and asking them to be quiet. I think most people don't want to do this because they fear the neighbor will then
  21. I'm going to have to tease her about this! She didn't tell me she is going to be so close by and I am having dinner with her the same night!
