I can understand a lot of different angles in this whole story. But i don't agree with sparing the rod and spoiling the child. A good swift smack to the butt does have a place and time. And telling a kid to sit down and not do something for the umteenth time.... (swak) problem fixed.

Although it might not be the ideal way to deal with the chicks. For those that are appalled... need to visit any and I mean any slaughter house.. period. Most people would change there eating styles if they saw what really happens. It is not pretty in any sense of the word. We live very sheltered lives when it comes to processed meats. So don't go off until you go visit a slaughter house. Think about it...

I think the guy was wrong, but I bet the kid was being a brat and the mom was just ignoring it. (Mom may be right in ignoring a crying kid at times), but it gets old for those of us that hear a crying kid at times. I also bet this kid was one that was a non stop crying kid... crying kid Next time he just needs to tell the mom to control her kid and walk away.

I have heard about the diet factor and really do believe this can have a huge impact with some kids with various medical issues. Good luck to you and him... Autism is not fully understood and I think vacines are really not understood how much a load on a body this can be at a very young age. waiting until a kids is a bit older 4-8 years old I think would not have that much of an impact and would be better for the kids. I still think vaccines are still needed for everyone, but a delay in getting them might be a bit prudent too.
