  1. Well said, but at the same time people driving small cars need to quit trying to beat the big guys. You might THINK you can accelerate faster and get out of their way, but if you're wrong, you'll be the one hurting.
  2. Word is the jury found him innocent on all counts. http://www.wsbtv.com/news/news/local/state-sen-balfour-found-not-guilty/ncPpQ/
  3. Good news! The law called "Obamacare" does not protect patients and is anything but affordable. WT - have you signed up yet?
  4. Can this be true - Medicare can now seize you assets once you're gone? Is this the entire country? Or only only Washington State - done as a way to encourage seniors to move before they start incurring expensive medical bills?
  5. It works for me. Here it is again: http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2013/12/14/Washington-Healthplanfinder-Website-Taking-Customers-Money-Early
  6. While we're on the topic of Obamacare, which has covering 'Pre-existing Conditions' as a corner stone, meaning if you didn't think insurance was important enough to pay for until you got sick yet you can get insurance after the fact to cover your illness, I'd like to bring up something along that line. We need a law to cover 'pre existing profits'. If a stock had a good day yesterday, I want to be able to buy it at the price it held yesterday morning so I can benefit from those profits. If I didn't believe a company was worth investing in before it's stock went up in price, why shouldn't I
  7. If you wanted to, were smart enough and made the right decisions, you too could have been in the top 10% - and be part of the group paying over 100% of the nation's taxes. But apparently you didn't. By all appearances, you'd rather look back at your life and complain about those who did.
  8. Did you give any bank account information? If so, be on the lookout for this coming to your state: Obamacare Taking Customers' Money Earlier than Authorized Not only did they take the money early, it's also reported they did so more than once to some people.
  9. What's next? How long before someone be able marry their dog?
  10. All that proves is there are some people too stupid to get ahead on their own. The question is is what percentage of the total taxes did those earners pay?
  11. An exact picture of many Americans today. They get government handouts while expecting other people to do all the work. TP - Rather than focusing on who's earning the money, you should focus on who's paying the taxes: CBO:Top 40% Paid 106.2% of Income Taxes; Bottom 40% Paid -9.1%, Got Average of $18,950 in 'Transfers'
  12. In other words, they gave people jobs! To most, that's a good thing.
  13. That is a long dead horse you're beating - we didn't vote to NEVER have an airport. We simply voted to not fully fund an airport! If you didn't want to ever have an airport in the county, you should have put the appropriate language on the ballot. Other than that, many of the other points on the airport appear to be valid.
  14. I call BS - the numbers you posted are obviously made up, they are well beyond the number of human beings that have lived since the beginning of time. And if so Postman, have you paid your first month's premium?
  15. They may have signed up but until they pay the first premium they really don't have insurance.
  16. Where would the thing start and end? Where would the stops be? Would I be able to jump on one at the entrance to my subdivision and get off at my job in Norcross?
  17. If the pictures are important to you, don't go cheap on the CDr's, make multiple copies and also go with the thumb drive like MillCreek suggested. I'm surprised at the number of people who want to save a few $$$ when they're talking about preserving their most precious memories.
  18. Did the stranger try to open the door? How long was the stranger knocking - was it minutes or more? Did your friend find out who it was when the police showed up?
  19. The way I read pubby - when people do stupid things and get themselves shot because they made someone feel their life was at risk, it's the gun's fault.
  20. Unfortunately somebody didn't take sufficient precaution to prevent this Alzheimer's patient from wondering around on their own in the middle of the night, ending in tragedy.
  21. Walmart on dallas highway has always been open 24 hours, including Thanksgiving. The only time they close is late on Christmas Eve until early Dec. 26.
  22. Good question DHKY. Someone has apparently proven it to the athiests, so saying you can't prove it is just a cop out.
  23. Where does the insurance companies get the money to provide the 'free' BC?
  24. We always use a defrosted bird, and can't remember it ever being too salty. Out of curiosity, where did you read that?
