  1. The way you originally posted it, it read like a single story told by the writer. Either way, the doctor was wrong in his beliefs. As for the first part, the real question is would the wife rather the husband ask after her or their baby and did the husband know his wife enough to ask the right question. At the time W. Somerset Maugham wrote this (if he indeed was the one, and this applies to anytime during his life) the technology didn't exist to tell if a 'three month old fetus' would have had a disease that would cause it to die a horrible death after birth, so the second state
  2. It was nice to meat y'all too. Thank you for the compliments on my work. The veggies I've gotten there have always been delicious, and all the vendors are very friendly.
  3. One has nothing to do with the other, except that had she (actually her dad) worked for Hobby Lobby and been covered by their insurance, she would have been able to obtain birth control.
  4. I read it three or four times. The last line mades no sense. The doctor compares the baby he just delivered to a three month fetus
  5. Thank you for asking. The Farmer's Market It is on today from 3:00 until 7:00. It sounds like the Vegetables are really starting to come in. Here's a link to this week's the newsletter: http://us5.campaign-archive2.com/?u=223d05915040bf9c030a08381&id=1291163bf8 Remember - you're buying from the people who actually grow the stuff, it hasn't been bought from some factory farm and shipped in. In fact, most of the produce has been harvested within the last 48 hours. The non-produce related items are also sold by the folks who make it.
  6. I thought the leak detection systems monitored for leaks into the ground, and are not based on the level of product in the tank.
  7. The last part reads like something TP would write. After delivering a baby the doctor refers to it as a 3 month fetus? Telling the husband he should have forced the wife to terminate the pregnancy ?
  8. Which is exactly why this lawsuit is wrong. By insisting the employees speak English, they're encouraging something that's good for their brain.
  9. It's not surprising that all of the cameras were pointed to the doors. Up until now, the only real worry was an armed robbery. IIRC, the tank access at this store is behind the building. Without a camera, it would be a blind spot to those inside.
  10. As I understand it, if the lady works for Hobby Lobby and has their insurance, bc would be covered. What wouldn't be covered are aboortzions or drugs that induce aboortzions.
  11. It sounds like someone needs to explain to ms. single mom about how babies are made.
  12. In a 2010 hearing, Hank Johnson (D-GA) told an Admiral that that he feared Guam “will become so overly populated that it will tip over and capsize.”
  13. Can you tell us what kind of tools and car parts? Thanks
  14. Forget not following decorum. He's demonstrated over and over that he can't follow a conversation.
  15. How about the New York Daily News? http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/woman-claim-kfc-kicked-3-year-old-disfigured-granddaughter-hoax-report-article-1.1841151 According to them, the surveillance tapes show the little girl was not in either of the local KFCs the day of the alleged incident. Also according to the article, the report from the official investigation should be made public next week.
  16. I seem remember Pubby saying that there was no question KFC should be sued by the family. I say the family member who made this up should be sued, and both KFC and the family member should be sued by the poor worker who was fired over this.
  17. Professional BBQ contests are held all over the country. Very few are located in wooded areas. They are almost always in open paved areas. Why should this one be any different?
  18. You're not going to get out of season produce from a local farmer's market. If tomato's are slow coming in, they will be scarce. If everything has been bought up in the first two hours, there won't be much to choose from.
  19. Comparing a local Farmer's Market to the Atlanta or Dekalb Farmer's Markets is like comparing a small mom and pop store with Walmart and saying they're a long way to being a real 'Store.' The difference is the produce at the PCFB Farmer's market is grown by the person you're buying it from, generally harvested within the prior 24 hours. This week the farmers sold out of most of their produce within the first two hours or so. Does Farmer John up the street grow everything he sells, or is he just reselling things he bought from Atlanta or elsewhere?
  20. Crossroads - I enjoyed meeting you. You must be thinking of Scarlett's soap store.
  21. If I read correctly, the first crop of free-stone peaches out of South Georgia will be available at the market today!
  22. Don't forget about the Farmer's Market today (Thursday) from 3:00 until 7:00 in the Citizens Square Plaza at the corner of 120 and East Paulding Drive (where Badcock furniture is.) Here's a link to this week's newsletter: http://us5.campaign-archive2.com/?u=223d05915040bf9c030a08381&id=b1f87e1a9f
  23. If there is more to it, the sponsors would do well to spell it out at least in outline form in the meeting notice. They're asking folks to take time out of their day and possibly fight traffic to attend their talk. The notice spends more words telling about their attorney/speaker than about the event itself. The idea is to get people who haven't heard of them interested in their cause and make them want to come. I believe the OP's notice falls short on that.
  24. Is it plugged in or on battery? It almost sounds like it has a nearly dead battery - starts booting and when it does an internal check of the battery, finds it almost dead and powers down automatically. If it's plugged in, the power connector may be bad (meaning it's trying to boot from battery.)
  25. So you're telling us the persona you present here is a made-up fictional character attempting to be 'unique'?
