I had a "lady" (visibly intoxicated) approach me at the RaceTrac in VR with a sob story about someone stealing her wallet from the rest area in Carrollton and she needed $$$ for gas. RaceHubby and I chose to only have one, for many reasons. One of which being, I know that GOD gave me exactly enough patience to accommodate one child. I hope it's actually scary. We went to nightmare on the mountain last year and I laughed the whole way through. A couple of times I think I scared the characters that were supposed to scare us. Of course I'm alot meaner than most people y'all know.

I had mine done a about 4 years ago, mostly for medical reasons. It was one of the best things I have ever done. I wish I had known of this procedure sooner. It drastically improved my quality of life. As for the pain aspect, I laid around for a couple of days (mostly because of the anesthesia hangover) but then I was raring to go. Everyone is different of course, but I'm glad I chose to do this. The ablation was my last option before a hysterectomy. Since ablation resolved my issues, my gyn hasn't even mentioned the "h" word to me again.

Cauterization. I think they main idea behind the "no more pregnacy" thing is that the ablation essentially removes the lining of the uterus. This leaves "nothing" for an egg to "attach" to. Obviously there will be some exceptions to this as with any other form of bc. Same thing with IUD, many users love it, some are proof it's not 100 % effective. I guess the only fool proof way to avoid pregnancy is what the Sunday School teacher told us, ABSTINANCE!

Well, I'm the end result of my mother's use of an IUD - so I guess those are not 100% for sure! I don't trust any of it so I had endometrial ablation performed and hubby had vasectomy. I am definitely not doing that childbirth thing again!
