If the kids were in high school they probably deserved it. If the kids were in middle school they definitely deserved it. I wouldn't do anything about it. Teachers are human and can get pretty frustrated so let them blow off a little steam.

I thought this might be for funny poetry or tongue-twisters! Anyway...here's one to try saying three times fast: I slit a sheet A sheet I slit A well slit sheet is the sheet I slit -

We subscribe to UVERSE tv and internet. We received notification that there will be caps placed on bandwidth use. I don't know how much bandwidth we use. Anyone have more knowledge about this and able to explain it here? I'm seriously considering doing away completely with Uverse and any cable tv and going strictly to the over-the-air free tv that remains in this area. I will still need internet though. Suggestions?

I was thinking along the same lines as SnD above. Ask her if she checked off the box indicating she could be claimed as someone else's dependent.

You are correct. The filing deadline is Monday the 18th. It was changed because today is a holiday in Washington, D.C. Washington, D.C.The municipality of Washington, D.C., celebrates April 16 as Emancipation Day. On that day in 1862, President Abraham Lincoln signed the Compensated Emancipation Act for the release of certain persons held to service or labor in the District of Columbia.[4] The Act freed about 3,100 enslaved persons in the District of Columbia nine months before President Lincoln issued his famous Emancipation Proclamation. Paulding to be camera ready, look out Hollywood

Anyone have the inside track on movie tax credits? I know there is a program in place to give tax breaks to film companies that work in Georgia, or at least there used to be. A few years ago there was a chance to buy some of the movie credits to use on your own tax return. I was too late to take advantage and never quite understood how it worked. I would appreciate some info from someone in-the-know. -

It is my own writing. I just wanted others thoughts so put it out there as an essay-style question. -

What are your thougts on this? A private road with an admission cost is an interesting approach, if it was truly private. It appears that the private companies interested in doing this are not interested in buying the land needed from the individual land owners at market price. They want to use the police power of government to seize land using eminent domain. It seems that is the only reason they would make this a joint venture...they need the force of the state to make people sell to them. -
LOL. OK, my first thought was, "Is she drinking? That looks like slurred typing!"

Look up "clay bar" for car finishes. It takes a little time but will give your car a really nice finish.

There is no harm in questioning the means and methods of a project, particularly if public funds will be used in any way. Transparency is needed and provides a way to ensure that taxpayers' hard earned dollars are being used wisely to benefit most and not enrich only a few. Further, if the power of government is used to condemn private property then all details should be public information whether or not tax dollars fund a project. JMHO. -

Please list the names of those that are making these decisions and those that are financing it. Please explain exactly what the "public" portion of this project is. Thanks in advance! -

I'd still like to know who the private investors are. My gut tells me it's probably some of the politicians supporting this venture and I fear their hiding behind corporate/partnership entities. -

Is this being done under the P3 partnership program with the GADOT? Do we know who the "private" portion of the group is? http://www.dot.state.ga.us/informationcenter/p3/about/Pages/default.aspx -
My thoughts too...not a Honda or Toyota in the lot. I thought she was holding a garden hoe.

Did the children witness the verbal assault or the physical assault? There are laws specific to such behavior in front of children.

Start by looking to the high school to which you are zoned. The youth programs are usually tied to those programs.
