I would like Pubby to shed some light, which there is plenty now downtown, as to the economic plus to Dallas, and what was paid to the City for police, use of cars and so on. Where does Dallas win on having all streets blocked most of the day...I know movie companies do pay some and I am sure that they did...just a thought...

This has been done for years and is very much the norm up in Gwinett County. One of the coaches has switched to many schools for the best tallent in basketball, in other words for his own recognition. So really, this is old news about athletes moving schools...

Ok, is he s senior? If so where is he signing for college? What university is he going to? So the answers to this will prove what level. This happens everyday is GHSA, move to the school that has the program, especially basketball....normal....

Lets see, we are supposed to be glued to all TV stations at 8:30am to look and see that schools were closed, when the BOE made the decision to delay. Teachers, lunchroom workers already either at school or going. We evidently as I said earlier, did not use resources of the PCSO to find out about the conditions or roads around 4am or so. And, we chose to serve on the board, I truly remember Kim asking for my vote, really at least lets you know she is available, but complain to powers that be....anyone can see that problems existed. As the DOT commissioner said today, we need to do a better job

I think that we do need to understand that not everybody has a laptop, iphone, fax machine and so on with High Speed DSL. I think this issue would have solved itself had we had county employees with trucks out covering the county at 3 and 4 am. We also pay for the PCSO, who could have provided the BOE with their opinion. We have a great group out all night that could have told Mr. Cole what they saw and expected to see before sunrise. But, evidently we did not used that resource.

Even though this comes out of our pocket...maybe some insurance. I say congrats. This should show what went on not just in your case, but all over the county. I think I saw some of those expensive lawyers around town. And, now I believe after this case that David should address how we are to proceed in the future. Douglas County just got sued, and we do not want to continue this trend. Whatever you get, you deserve. And maybe you can mail a copy to all that had a hand in it.

Babecake, I know it is not her decision. But it can be her influence at the next BOE meeting because she is a member. This is not her call I know. But evidently she cares and I want her to know so that she can input....

Ms Cobb, we have received calls twice last night, twice this morning, and now you decide. After many years of this, this is not the way you do it. Parents, children and teachers that drive are already in motion. Make the tough decision early and not wait.

The other day going coming back from Cobb two Clark Units were rushing to Kennestone I believe. So folks that leaves us with about 3 units to cover this county. Again, lets not blame Clark, we need coverage...yes, maybe they will change a few things, maybe this county needs more, but mutual aid is common, so you might as well get used to it. It is not an easy balancing act like the circus.

Thats not usual here, they usually have a flag on hand, fill out form and get another one from the post office. Sounds like they may be missing the boat. Also, most take them to be pressed and when placed on casket no wrinkles. Yes, you can get a flag, should have been taken care of by funeral home....

I have no problem losing, but I have just watched all the clips of the defensive tackle at Auburn for the year, and the bottom line is the SEC has allowed this to occur. This is like watching WWF...he is a total jerk, he will not make it far, or his wallet if he makes it to the next level. On Newton, yes he is a great player, but typical in acting like a jerk, go play and let your actions speak...still something will come out one of these days,,

Like Pubby says, it is only a little bit but does cover. Talk with you agent about added on coverage, but I would say the minimum would be at least $100,000 for you to carry. All it takes is one crash, and the other person has $25,000. So be guided by that.
