Uninsured Motorist is optional, however, for the scumbags that carry minimum limits you need to carry more for Underinsured also. Most folks just want to minimum, and not the added coverage. so beware and increase a little at a time.....

I have never had anything better than the meat from West Metro. It surprises me that folks will go to the big store where it has been shipped and cut two to three days, and they are constantly marking it down. Wow, JBG, if you only knew the teachers in this county....they come from all walks of life, and it sounds like many would not make the grade with you....pretty narrow when I think about the different teachers that I know. He is from Paulding County, and he is a good young man. With that being said, it was a team effort TEAM with no I. Three quarterbacks, and two weeks off with a 3 game losing streak, so it was a big win. I see him kicking on Sundays, and the Georgia kicker will also be kicking on Sunday. I would like to know Freebird...if you know the law that I have mentioned before...that a county that has only one service....must provide money for indigent care. We have one service, so whether it is Clark or Puckett or Metro...we must provide. Forget the times, lets answer this question...I do not want the county to take over this service. Have you been through Polk County lately, they are out...and both Floyd and Redmond have units there....so when you do this response research, why not look up what a county is required to do, regardless of which service has the zone.

Even in my first job, longest there got the best vacation weeks, pure and simple. Mr. Barnes took out some teacher aides one year, and had to put them back in the next. He was told to slow down, yes, I supported him. But, as other elected officials do, when you put them in, they forget who got them there, and basically will not listen. He has promised the world to the teachers, cannot believe GAE would endorse either. This will also carry over with the BOE here next time....they will not listen....

One area that concerned me is why he did not contract directly with the insurance carriers. That way he was going to get his money, but it would have been slashed by the company. Usually, the emt is able to get info, if he or she wanted to. I think they have mimi computers to work with. The GAE endorsed Roy Barnes....he has stated that he would do away with teacher furloughs. Where do you stand and what are you going to vote to help the teachers, the slide cannot continue. I agree education needs to move back to the top, but you start with the teachers. I was told recently that systems have given teachers money to offset furlough days. Why did Paulding County not do this. Some states have used a 1/2 cent tax for education for a 5 years period with no renewal. I watched the tape, and he states that the individual gets the check. That means that he is not contracted directly with insurance companies. So probably that explains why a tremendous amount of money that is not going to him. That is business. He can chose to work with the companies, but at this point, it would be a hard sell to get them on board. This may not have a pleasant ending....

You know, most of these folks have a full time job...yes, and maybe they need this extra money and are willing to work extra. Now, if you can hold on and see if this works out...guess what...you still have that extra job. How many fireman, cut grass, do odd jobs on the side. If they want to walk out...I am sure they will...if they want to try to save a job that they have...then they will stay...these people work hard, and if called to my home, they would do the job....

Kaiser has a pretty good record of hiring some great doctors. I believe you have to look at the premium and understand what you are getting. They have been a pioneer in the closed program, and I really think the future may be the Kaiser way....there is good and bad to all plans...personal choice...

You will not see enough savings to offset the 2mil firetax for the county. So really this was a small step, hopefully we can get it lower in the future. For reference, Smyrna just went to Prot 2 I believe, that is getting it down there. I think Cobb is a 3....we have some big steps before getting this down lower.

Ok, I am not new....I have talked to Governors, Senators, State Reps and BOE and BOC....and to be truthful they did not listen, or really care once they went into office. So, with that being said Will seems to want to listen and discuss concerns. How he handles this when elected we will see. I could name countless politicians that forgot....so I am willing to let him have a stab at this elected position. So I am not new, and will vote for the person that I feel is best capable.

LPPT, you are not required to carry Med Payments on your policy by ga law. You only have to cover a minimum of 25,000/50,000/25,000 it is you option to carry anything additional such as uninsured motorist and comp, coll and so on....so I really do not see where you are supporting an ambulance with your insurance. A person could be hurt, refuse to go by ambulance, go in private car, and yes, still sue you for damages. Just dont see this one. As far as paying for indigent care...well, talk with you legislator, as this is law to supplement.

I appreciate pubby putting a plane coming in to see the Dawgs...but they allow commercial, and on gameday many, many planes land including small Delta planes to pick and bring in teams, but it would be forbidden in this county, because we would not want to have a plane land and sell fuel. Good try though...Athens-Ben Epps field does just fine without Paulding ATLANTA airport...
