Freebird, why dont you read the Georgia Code about support of ambulance service....bet you did not know that years ago in Cobb, an ambulance was paid so much just to show up on there ER dock. If you want a tax increase, then just try placing county units around this county. Also, can you count the one's that have been here, where are they now....you must really have something difficult to not understand. It could be a simple error...and by the way, Region I EMS would have already been involved....wait before putting someone on the list...

I think I am correct in this...under Ga Law if only one service is available then the county must provide for funds for indigent care. I think many years ago, and maybe today, we had to pay the hospital for indigent care over there also. As a taxpayer, I want to keep it the way it is. We have no gurantee that a change would help. Bet if I knew inside, this was just a mixup and waiting on Medicare or Medicaid to pay. I am not for changing this at all. Things happen.....

They have done a great job in helping many people including me. Remember that he has to absorb a cost, if the patient has no insurance and will not pay. Yes, $400,000 is a lot of money, but nowhere near enough when you look at the big picture. Why do you think the big companies from Atlanta have not come out here. I do believe he is not seen out in the community, and has lost touch with the community. That is a price that he has to understand. He is a good person, but,you have to be out and around and participate in community functions, not just send a tent or an ambulance.

Remember several years ago Wildlife tags were $25 one time, oh no, not now, $25 per year. I cannot and will not trust Atlanta with $80 million for adding on a $10 to my car tag...so the base rate will now go to $30....they will not spend it correctly. This is just like the 2 mils for fire...that passed without many voting and we are stuck....no to just about everything.

I would have done something different, call 911 and ask for a deputy ASAP...ask them to leave the property, get their names, file report, and advise of not to come to property again with a certified letter. You, must be very kind, would not have allowed it to get that far.

Some counties are now receiving federal funds and paying for furlough days for the staff. Has the board received any new money and what are the plans. It is my understanding that each county must apply for the funds. This would certainly help the teachers and staff from facing 10 days of pay. I know of two counties at present that have helped the staff...

bellaprincess mentions that others on the board might have missed, been late and that sort of stuff....we are not voting for them, has nothing to do with them, the issue is what it is. Yes, they get paid, in the old days they would call a meeting just to make the $50 per meeting. I am not worried about others on the board, that would be like saying, well they did it and it is OK. When you run for office, the world is open to what you did in previous everyday life. If someone showed she did something else, some on here would defend her anyway. So, vote, and vote for the choice that you feel

Permission, leaving early, arriving late....I schedule our vacations around the school holidays and she can schedule her time away around the meetings that she had to attend. This does not hold water....she answers to the voters and taxpayers...

When I see the list, and also paying the bonds, then I will decide. We rebuilt PCHS, and leave administration in charge of a nice facility....and not make changes...that bothers several....

You know, missing a meeting, it matters to me whether she misses a vote, where she might consider it minor, and me a major item. I think we need to look at the big picture, and that is that she missed a few, late, or left early. Remember she does get paid. I expect my representative to be there, minor or major vote for the 40 days in Hot Lanta. Good job on the records...some on here if they were certified would not believe it..

I just considered her a great southern lady....she will be missed....but she and her husband are now together....and they are celebrating....it was a pleasure knowing her...My thoughts to the family.....

Kell was a great team, think that Hiram will hopefully get better. Not what you want, but it put the county on regional TV with CSS. Dorsey is a class act, and he will bring them back together. Surprised a little that North did not do well against East...but as they mentioned on CSS, the records before tonight, like playing weak teams, PCHS would be the main one.

I think that this year there will be several teams with L's....no Georgia is not folding up the tent and CMR will be around...knew this would be a challenge with 3 new coaches, so for the true Ga fan, just hang in there and it will get better....once the injury bug and team are back together, maybe some improvement.

Added on $85 per semester, per student just for football. The students pay $144 now, so thats about $170 per year for football.......

I understand what you are saying Freebird, truly, however, at any given moment in the county every unit could be tied up....that is why they have mutual aid contracts. You can blame Clark, or the other 4 or 5 folks getting aid with a amublance.....it just plain happens....one of the problems is that manning 7 and 24 hrs is tough....and if the county took over the taxpayers would be paying even more. We have great first response for fire dept and hopefully we get more units in the future.....been there and done it....understand....

I have not quit, will not quit, and will be there next time for Georgia. Yes, we have some things to work on, and it was mentioned that this team would have to grow into the season. SC has a good time, time will tell. Just ask VT how they have started. It is football with 18 to 22 yr olds making a game. And I love every minute of it.

Go to the bills introduced by Sen Heath, and Rep Maxwell, and just see what they introduced or really what they did not and they have been in a while. Yes, Will would be a freshman person, but might try to do something. I had rather him try and get the door shut until he gets exposure. A debate, would be great...the bottom line is she knows he will kick her out of the room because he can answer a question. It is not R or D...it is the person.
