I think some rudeness is from lack of manners. I also think some ppl dont realize they are being rude and actually dont mean to come off as being rude but we all know there are certain ppl that are rude with almost all their comments and those are the ones I dont get. We all have opinions and voice them and that isnt so much being rude. I also dont think venting is rude. I have been very fortunate to have made a lot of friends on pcom and have really only disliked 1 person but it does bother me sometimes to see ppl lash out at others that sometimes just dont deserve it. you know with some ppl I have in mind I think it is exactly this I get the message board and personal info but what if someone comes on to sell something and its an item they liked and had use out of but then someone goes on and posts how stupid this item is and why would anyone want it......stuff like that happens all the time and I just dont get it. If you dont want the item why go on and post about it. Heck If they were posting a review on item bc they had it fine but other then that leave it alone. I know I have been treated like crap many times bc of spelling. I dont think

lol not buying that. I was raised by some yanks and I will say nicest ppl ive met are from up north. Im the same way! I dont ever set out to hurt anyone but I will by all means stand up for myself or blow a fuse from time to time I guess that makes sense

hmm I dont want to give a specific example bc then I would be calling ppl out. so generic example. Someone just moves next door to you and isnt familiar with you or the surroundings but wants to just reach a hand out and be kind and say Hi im so and so would you like a piece of gum and then rude person says I dont want your stupid gum....I dont want gum from you.....why would I chew that nasty stuff....... That is not being funny it is just being rude. Whats the point? Why wouldnt the person just say no thank you or heck just ignoring the person would be less rude. I have taught

I just dont understand why some ppl find so much pleasure in being rude. Is it funny? Exciting? Entertaining? Going back to childhood and being class clown? Just dont understand. I get joking but there is a huge differnece in joking and being rude. I personally find more pleasure in being nice and helpful then judging someone or being rude just bc I can or just bc I may disagree. So why do some ppl set out to be rude? I am not name calling and I actually am being quite serious about this topic maybe they think they are being funny and dont realize they are being rude? ....sti

Oh Im so sory to hear this. To lose both parents at such a young age my heart and prayers will be with these children and their family.

I heard about this on the news My daughter participates in school but hasnt really gotten that involved but she does enjoy it. I always hate to see worthy groups/clubs being eliminated in our school system. Clubs and books are a very important part of their education...guess some just dont see it that way. I will keep my fingers crossed for the 4-h clubs

I think the government offices can be cautious and make decisions ahead of time bc they dont have to be as worried about getting so many hours in?....just a guess. I would rather not let the kids out at noon one wed a month and have all the early release weeks so that in situations like this they could be cautious and not stess over how many days have been missed. With that being said as much as I would have like some more time to play with the kids in the snow before its gone I dont think safety was an issue today.

our neighborhood is usually the last drivable place and it is perfectly dry this morning. I couldnt believe it. I havent heard of any road problems but Im sure it will be very wise to just be cautious. I did send mine although last night I really didnt think I would be. No freezing temps and a lot of wind made a huge difference on how things could have turned out.

I think they called it as early as they could have this time. Any sooner they wouldnt have had time to get busses set and parents notified.

im still waiting on the call that they are getting out early, lol. My neighbor told me the principal at the high school said no school but havent heard anything official

I went about an hour ago and no one was out at 278 and 92 and the hardware store said they sold out I ended up buying some plastic at ace hardware so now we just need more snow or for it to freeze up

I dont know but Im debating if its worth going to get one since im watching the snow melt right now

I still havent got the call that they are doing early release but I called earlier and found out. They def made better choice this time

I still havent received my early release call I think they did much better this time then last but they did confuse the schools a bit. When I was picking my kids up early the office staff was answering the phones telling everyone the first release time given but in the meantime they had received a new email with the different time. So some parents/staff were probably very confused about the times. Overall much better choice this time around

Im with you. Our neighborhood is all hills and its looking the same as last time. I was happy at first and then looked at the clock and realized it is still quite a bit off.
