  6. well so much for rain after lunch If it doesnt start raining any harder I may brave the weather and bring the kids up. If you see a soaking wet pregnant lady with 4 kids thats me
  7. Ive been a huge denver fan for years so ive got shirts/hats/jacket I can lend ya CC I for one am not overlly thrilled with this pick but they are still in the building stages so hopefully things work out this season
  8. we are looking forward to it I think the news said the rain was moving in after lunch so hopefully it will be in the 'shine'
  9. I agree with momof 3 your a great person and your post is completly understandable. I know whenever ive sold things I have tried to hold the item for people and turned other people away and the origianl person either changed their mind or didnt come then im out the money and time I put into making the item. Good luck and I will keep my eyes posted to see what you have available
  10. very sad As far as kids/teens and spring break in fl I say no way. I do know a lot of my daughters friends are going (she is 15) and the way they get around it with their parents is they go with one of their friends parents....problem is this particular parent is worse then the kids.
  11. pcom has always been good to me when Ive sold items ive made. I just have been so busy with the kids I havent had much time to crochet How have you been doing? You need to teach me how to sew but as bad as I am I promise I wont ever be a competitor I would just like to make some stuff for my kiddos.
  12. I remember when I got the email about it renewing I was a little worried bc I wasnt financially prepared lol. Even though I paid paypal it didnt automatically come out and pubby gave me an explanation on why it didnt but I cant remember what it was I wonder if you have to go through paypal to stop transaction? Pubby is the best so im sure he will take care of it. The pcom artist subscription is great for me....only problem is I havent been making anything lately. For the money it is a great option!
  13. If you go to your subscriptions in settings does it give you an option to not renew? Did you pay through paypal?
  14. oh that could be dangerous for me. haha. I spend so much time on facebook just for the games.
  15. that is awesome! Im glad you had your special day
  16. no one but there are 3 ppl I really debated putting on mine
  17. sarah gets it real bad, especially on her hands. only thing that helps without hurting is eucyrin...im sure im spelling it wrong.
  18. one of mine has been wearing them for months. She is skin and bones but for some crazy reason she doesnt get cold. My oldest just wore some for the 1st time today and my other is like me and probably will wait a little longer
  19. I feel like in my husbands line of work the money is going back to the people. Im sorry if you feel thats wrong. My husband chose a career that does not pay a lot but does require a lot of training. Some is optional but still very important. He could choose a different career but if everyone did that because they couldnt afford the training they needed for their jobs our society as a whole would be much worse off. I bet the peoples lives he has saved are glad their tax money helped train him
  20. I do agree thats unfair but to assume all people are in the same boat and misusing these funds is wrong. We just cant afford these courses my husband needs to do his job better so we are all for a little break in the cost. We by no means expect it for free or want anything handed to us and he busts his tail to get the grades while working long hours.
  21. ok im getting confused, I will have to check and see what my husband got to help with his classes. If it was the pell he didnt get any extra money for clothes/etc. Heck he only got 30 towards books that cost well over tht. Im not complaining im just saying he didnt get more then some of his classes paid for. Hey if it makes you feel any better we pay taxes too so if it wasnt our money paying for his education and it was yours he may be able to save your life one day even quicker/better because of the classes he is taking for his career
  22. sometimes these days just dont seem worth the effort lol.
  23. well my husband works 2 jobs and works 60-70 hours a week and maintained an A and used to qualify bc we are considered low income. Just think you are generalizing a bit
  24. so are you saying those that fall under a certain income level are considered crappy? and un-motivated? Im really hoping I misunderstood that.
