It really made a huge difference having good insurance. We paid less monthly and our co pays were less....it was nice. you are the best and by the way I see congrats to you are in order. Im just a little shocked about the fee. Sometimes I try to look at the 'perks' of my husbands job and at this point we were down to good insurance....guess no more perks. lol I guess honestly this is my fault. I should have contacted the insurance sooner and found this out then I could have started putting a little aside.

My others werent this expensive so im guessing my husbands cop insurance with cobb was better then what he has now. I think our deductable is 1k but we are paying over 2k plus some things billed seperate....I guess I dont understand insurance lol Im not sure I am happy they sent bill now or if I would have rather it be after....oh well it is what it is and I know how expensive kids are so I guess I shouldnt be this surprised/caught off guard

Im going to have to call them. The letter said the 1500 had to be paid before we go and Im still workig on my daughters $700+ cheer fee at school ........madea I may not sleep for the next month

so far the ob has said our portion to him will be $450 and today I got a bill from the hospital saying our portion to them will be $1500, anesthia/etc will be billed seperate. I may have to sell everything just to pay to have the little guy.

**updated in post 3 with new hats and a few cowls. Still working on cheerleading and baby fund ** Im using up yarn I already have so these hats are $5 each. Of coarse I can make hats per request but the price will vary. Ive got several more of the boggin/ski hats that i will post more pics later white with black stripe boggin/ski hat this hat is similar to a boggin but it has a brim similar to baseball cap these 3 hats are the same pattern but the black and brown are beret and the white one is beret with brim

dont feel bad, I dont work and was able to be at the first school twenty minutes before it started and was still pushed for time. You did pretty good considering you had class changes and were at work first.

lol no way am I catching up to 19! I love my children and I already love this little guy but we were done after the 3rd......God just had other plans for us. lol

I went in with the intentions of shaking a hand, putting a face with a name and getting supply info and finished with 2 minutes left. I agree that if I only had one school and one child the time would not be extended but my dilema was that I have 3 school aged children and it just wasnt enough time for that many. I agree that overlapping could be a good solution for those of us that have more then one school.

that was our problem too except luckily all three of our schools are very close. The first 2 schools/teachers probably thought I was the rudest parent. I just quickly said hello, introduced myself and asked what does my child need and was out the door.. . it was kind of hard to do since they were dealing with homeroom children Im sorry you weret able to get to your hs in time. I am really hoping the school board can reconsider the time frame next year. It does seem a lot had a great experience and that is wonderful to be starting on the right note.....hoping this school year goes

going a couple weeks without internet combined with nesting has caused me to be busy..... bear blankets $20 each navy/baby blue pictured but also have a white/blue one same style purple/pink baby blocks and rattles 2 for $5 newborn hats $5 each (camo, yellow with green stripe, blue in boggin style and pink and green in stocking cap) I have started making some toddler/adult hats and will post those tomorrow

I guess our elementary went smooth but the middle and high were difficult since they were same time and only 2 hours. The teachers were having to hand out schedules and forms to their homeroom students which made it difficult for their class students. Just not enough time. I guess for tomorrow we send the kids in with basics and hopefully the teachers send home a list of what they need later. Sometimes when the kids get older this is the only opportunity to meet and talk to the teacher so I really hated it this way. Oh well, lesson learned and next year we will opt out of open house

aww thats great well im sorry he isnt feeling well but happy it went well. guess he is missing first day of school.....you are gonna get in trouble. we got to ours twenty minutes before start time just so we would have enough time...I had already put us on a tight schedule, lol. The stampede was pretty bad but trying to fit that many ppl in a building at the same time..... I guess it could have been worse.

Just curious how everyones open house went Ours was very rushed and if the time stays the same we will probably not even go next year. With just a couple hours for 3 schools (14+ teachers) it was like a mad dash other then time/heat/parking our 3 schools did a great job with the amount of ppl

I will not be filling out any forms at school today so hopefully they will let us bring them home to fill out or find them online. With the cut back time frame for the open houses I just wont have time since I have 3 seperate schools this year lol
