While applaud you on your gun safety stance, I still have to ask... If they practice proper gun safety rules with the Nerf guns then how exactly do they play with them. They surely can not shoot at each other, nor can they even point them at one another and say "bang". What do they do with them?

I doubt there will be any updates. Patient privacy keeps more info from coming out. EMS usually gets no updates after transport to hospital. If the news takes a notion to follow up and the patient's family allows (doubtful under these circumstances) then the hospital will allow updates.

I got it from a friend on the oncoming shift this morning, who had a friend that ran the call. They may not have put it out for general relase yet. I haven't heard anything on the news yet. Understood, I was just pointing out a quirk with the Glocks. My sister tried to shoot me with my BB gun. I pointed the barrel away and she shot my closet instead. So she hit me over the head with a shovel, tried to shoot me and cut my head open with a razor blade. Hmmmm. I not sure she liked me very much. But she swears that she really does love me.

But on a better note, Apparantly the "target practice" ahead of time, was for naught. They missed the heart. That being the case, there is a good chance they will survive. Station 30 is right across the street and there would not be a big delay on treatment. But I have no specifics.I am only speculating from what I HAVE heard. That is good advice. But I believe that only a GLOCK will actually fire the chambered round without the magazine being in it. They also showed us how to defeat the gun with contact pressure, but I DO NOT WANT TO PLAY THAT GAME.

To the best of my knowledge, from my associates on that side of town, that was the case. I believe the gun range is now going to stop renting guns because this was not the first time there.

In 93, as I recall, the temp was rather warm in the begining of the week. We were going to Ski Beech, NC that Thur. and were afraid of not having good ski weather. We left Atlanta with a little ice on the roads. By the time we got there, I had put the snowchains on my car, and we had to stop and buy some for my friends truck just to get up the mountain. The next morning my car was frozen into a snow bank with the chains frozen in ice and the engine compartment full of snow. No I did not leave the hood up. But we had a great time skiing.

Yep, I thought someone needed some weeding done. but for the life of me I could not understand WHY NOW. Now for a trick I learned in college. Try to read it backwards. It is much more difficult because the words do not flow with the normal patterns. That is why I proof read by reading backwards, it forces you to read each word independantly.
