Got ours from Browns, about 8 years ago. 27'x54 inch deep circle. They dug out the ground and leveled it, put down the sand, set it up and began filling it. Expect to be there for about 4-8 hours for filling depending on the number of hose outlets you have and your water pressure. Recommend getting it in *before* the summer water surcharge hits. (Trust me on that) Had to have a liner put in after about six years due to a mistake I made. (Waiting until it was 30 degrees before trying to remove the stairs, I didn't want to get in, and managed to rip the liner when they got away from me)

Guns and Violence - what can be done?
The Sound Guy replied to The Sound Guy's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Thanks to all for keeping this civil... An extension to no 3, look at this example from a study in Ohio on crimes committed there over a 35 year period: What's the old saying? Fool me once, shame on me, fool me twice, shame on me. Our society would be much safer if we concentrated on this very small percentage of multiple offenders and either kept them off the streets. Another thought... if by committing multiple violent crimes after conviction and punishment (thus showing they can't learn very well from punishment) should we take away their citizenship and thus their right -
OK, lots of people have been climbing into the party corners in the Gun Control debate and not even trying to find a solution, just repeat their party position over and over on both sides. Since the problem is not really the guns, but Gun violence, I'd like to have the members of Pcom brainstorm on this subject a bit. Please keep the politics out of it so this can stay in the cafe, but mods, please edit or move if it gets out of hand. Basic assumptions for the discussion: 2nd Amendment "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the peo

Yes, they can see the list of registered voters but that doesn't mean that the person actually exercised that right. But even if they could see if I voted last election or not, they still can't walk down the street and tell who is the voters and how they voted to see if each person is responsible for the idiots that are currently in our government. What if you had to have a list of who you voted for on your shirt? Would you be OK with that? That would really be the showing how you exercised your voting right. The target are no different than your idea. They both mark people that are

First, I disagree that anyone can tell the difference between a voter and non-voter in this country. A big difference is that the "I'm a Georgia Voter" sticker is voluntary, if I want, I can toss it away. Though it's not here and Iran doesn't have our Constitution, you can cover up a finger with a glove or stick your hand in a pocket. The ink blot is not to warn everyone else you are a voter, as you state, it's a protection mechanism against fraud. A good ID system can do the same thing, but then you were totally against that as "violating" peoples voting rights. So making them stink if the

So you are implying that it should be required to paint voters and spray them with stinky stuff if they vote so that everyone would know who voted as those things really don't infringe on the right to vote?

What's next? I know, let's ban attack fruit!

I don't know of anywhere in the USA that has such right that lethal force can be used for protection of property. Last I read of GA law, you just be in fear of harm to yourself or another person for deadly force (against another person) to be admissible. -

If they restricted the number of fruit you could carry in your car, it would help prevent the mass damage of cars like this. I mean, 17 cars in one day! Broken glass and mirrors!! People should be restricted to less than 9 fruit in your car at the same time. For any kind of fruit, not just that used these attacks. All fruit is obviously evil. As obvious is the fact that large fruit should be banned completely. Had the perp had no access to pumpkins or pineapples, he'd had to use grapefruit, making it much less likely to damage the autos or requiring he use more of his limit of 9 f -
I got mine just before the Deer Muzzle loading season began, took about 10 days to get it in the mail. Not bad.

Wow, they did kick his Arse. Repeatedly. Glad the leader was ok. Guess it shows that there are idiots in most countries.

You may be right... I was just ih discussions with a family member in a local soft drink company that told me within 5-10 years he expected everyone to have to have some kind of post high school training to get a job. Even as a delivery driver. -

From what I've heard, this used to be true, but it's getting more and more that companies want a "degree", lots of time it doesn't even matter what the degree is in, before they will hire you. -
Home Building at Highest Level in 4.5 Years

Smaller home construction is still going on, there was not enough affordable housing built during the boom. High end home construction will take a while to recover. -
They can't seem to make up their minds, one minute it says we get no accumulation, the next minute, up to an inch. Young Harris, where my daughter is at school was saying 1 inch 30 minutes ago, is now saying 2-3 inches. I want a job where I can get paid the big bucks to guess wildly what in going to happen too!

I turned 50 this year and got the flu Thanksgiving. It took a week to get over the major symptoms and that was with me going to the doctor and getting tamaflu at the first symtoms because my son had Type B the week before. I'm still dealing with drainage and cough a month later. Yep, I'm getting the shot next year. I may go ahead and get it now if they will let me.

Woman drives 900 miles out of her way after GPS error
The Sound Guy replied to cptlo306's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I used to work in Alpharetta, and each morning took Dabbs Bridge to 41 to 92 across town. One day I was going to Home Depot on 41, took off down Dabbs Bridge thinking about something and was crossing over 575 on 92 when I realized I was driving to work on autopilot. Thinking while driving can be time consuming... -
Call NCIS. They seem to track one within 20 ft every week.

While it's pretty cool what he's doing, you might want to find something else for him to take to school. I'm hopeful that our local School officials will use common sense, but you never know. Various school systems have thrown kids out for tweedy bird pocketbooks with a belt chain on it for pete's sake.

I like it! My Mom and Dad had a '66 Belvedere, wasn't the 2 door version, but the four door. We drove that car into the ground and never had any problems with it. It had the 318 V8, same as our '72 Satellite, and it was a great engine. We later had a '67 Chrysler Imperial Lebaron we nicknamed "Behemoth" with the 440 V8, but never owned a hemi engine. I am even impressed now with Behemoth, in 1967 it had a seek radio (analog tuning) with a seek button on the floor near the headlight dimmer switch (how many people alive still remember those?) and a automatic headlight dimmer feature th

Wow, for the first time in 18 years, I don't need to know this because my youngest graduated last fall so I finally have no one in a public school system. Dang, I'm older than dirt!! But really, enjoy the high school years while you can, now I'm trying to get three through college at the same time!

One of the main reasons is believed to be because of the annual TV tax. In the UK, you have to pay a rather large tax for every TV you own, to support their wonderful BBC (Gag, puke) public television network. That is $78 a year to operate a B&W TV, $238 a year to operate a Color TV. If you ever turn it on, you have to pay the tax. Wow, people have complained about the CAR tax here, I can't imagine the complaining about a TV tax. I'd have to be shedding some TVs if that ever happened here... BBC

I've seen it happen on my check and I believe it's when I have vaporware credits / charges, like the company putting the cost of Long term disability on your check then taking it back out so you pay taxes on it. (Makes the disability checks tax free if you happen to need them) But who knows. I'm trying to estimate my taxes now to see how much I'm gonna owe and it's about impossible.
