Well, seeing that this topic is about cutting Pre-K hours......never mind. But, I can see your opinion as valid for you. My personaly opinion is that if something is cut, that the college stuff get cut before Pre-K. I think it's better to start more kids off with educating them and putting them in a classroom enviroment so that they will be ready when they go to school. Someone who is going to college has 18 years for their parents to save into a college fund. That's the problem with handout programs. When the funding is cut, people who rely on those programs are hurt. Personally, if it is something I am not paying for then I should be happy to have it while it is around but realize that it's not mine, it is a handout, and in turn has the opportunity to be taken away at anytime. Guess we all will have to go back to doing things the old fashion way....you know, paying for it ourselves. It's also a good idea if you have small children to start a college fund early when they are young so you can put in a small amount each month.

Now that this has been OKed by the SCOTUS, who wants to start a group to go protest the funerals of the members of this church whenever their time comes???
