When I played as a kid in Powder Springs, this is how it was done also. I now help coach 7-8 yr old team at New Hope and I rather have it they way it is now. We are mostly 7 yr olds and we got pretty whooped up on this year. But it also gave our kids some great experience to play some incredible teams to do our best to up our game. I like it this way because each team can stay together for years and these kids can grow up playing together and be an even better ball team by they time they are 12/13 and will help them if they go on into high school and beyond. Yeah, you know on 9/11 this year all we are going to see are planes and building blowing up and people falling from the skies and the faces of police and firemen going up into a building that is about to be their tomb....funny they have no problem what that being shown over and over again.

Part of me wants to see the proof for myself, but the only part knows that this will just give the terrorist more ammunition. hornetmom, Don't listen to these others. They don't know your grandson, only you can make a decision on his behalf according to what you know about him yourself. My youngest son will be 3 in July and we will be putting him in tiny tot baseball. He has a brother who is about to turn 8 years old and he has played with his brother since he could walk. He plays everyday with his brother, uncle, and myself. I know what he is capable of doing just as you know your grandson. Yes, kids are on different levels and as parents we can each see where our kids are at and what they can handle.

So what do men working in a church act like? Does being a man automaticaly means you cuss, tell dirty jokes, and talk about sex and women? I guess my daddy had it all wrong...I guess I need to stop teaching my sons to be respectful and to watch their language.

Sounds like you are on top of it. Just keep on the phone to the specialist and maybe something will open up sooner. Praying for you guys

I just talked to Chickadee. She is pulling into the hospital parking lot right now. They were able to get him off the vent just a few minutes ago so he is now breathing on his own. He is still in and out because of the meds, but coming around. She is going to stay with him for a little while to make sure he knows what all is going on since he has been sedated since early friday morning. Keep him in your prayers still. Thanks!!

I'm negative because of what I posted? Have you seen how many topics he created in the past few hours talking about pretty much the same thing. It's ok for a Pastor to have an opinion, or God forbid have a slightly quirky sense of humor isn't it. Now, what was an insult was when TP had in his signiture line that I and others who are conservative are stupid. If it is actually true that TP does indeed have short-term memory loss then that really could be considered an insult and I would be the first to apologize for it.....of course if that is the case he probably wouldn't remember

Employers have a right to make sure that other employees are safe. This also keeps insurance cost down when a insurance company knows that the employer that they are covering is making sure it's employees don't come to work and try to operate a fork lift drunk or high as a kite. Many employers also require you to be clean shaven or wear a certain uniform. YOU have a right to find any job you want that doesn't require those things.

The parent who has custody should be the one who decides this. You will never make both parents happy, but if the courts have already ruled that one parent would have primary custody then that parent's choice should be given precedence. If the other parent who didn't have full custody doesn't like it, then they should go to court to get full custody.

Can't vote in this poll. Perhaps if you had another option I would put it at, "Yes, I love Jesus but also beleive in an Americans freedom of choice."
