  1. I did this once when I was a very young child about 2 or 3 years old. It was early in the morning and I woke up and went to the front door, unlocked it, and walked outside and down to the end of our subdivision and back. It had to have been 200-300 yards or more to the end of the road. Yeah, I received a fairly good whooping that day!
  2. PM sent Sometimes cats can sound like women or children screaming, BTW.
  3. Was he crossing Hwy 120? I drove by there and there was lots of emergency vehicles and a car or 2, but couldn't see any damage, but there was a lot of medical bags and stuff out where it looked like they were working on someone. Will be praying for him!
  4. Question for the mechanics or just anyone who is smarted than me! I have a '87 Dodge Dakota. A while back my windshield wipers stopped working...well, actually one morning they were frozen over and I tried to turn them on and they haven't worked since. (yeah, yeah, stupid me!) I got the motor off, but really thought I should test it somehow to make sure that it is bad before I buy a new one. I tested my fuse, but I don't have an owners manual so I am not 100% that I checked the right one, but I think I did....and it was ok...even replaced a few that looked pretty bad. Is there
  5. Anyone got any good suggestions on Trout Ponds/Farms in or near Gatlinburg. I did a google search, but haven't really found anything I'm looking for. Seems to be more "Farms" type for stocking, not fishing. Thanks
  6. Ouch! I hope he is ok. I know one of the youth at my church was doing tryouts this week for south paulding, I don't think he is 16 yet so I don't think it is him, but I hope this kid is alright after all!
  7. Tara, We will be praying for you and your family. Prayers of peace and comfort to you all, and grace and mercy and healing for Shannon!!
  8. I had no idea either. I am very sad to hear this. I lost contact with Thomas a while back and have been wanting to go see him, but never made the time...I wish I could have that time back now! He actually came to my mind on Friday while I was driving by downtown hiram.
  9. Praying for this family. I don't personally know her, but some at my church do and we have been praying for her for a long time. I'm really sad to hear that she had passed. God, bless this family and give comfort and peace. Pastor Matt and everyone at St. James Community Church
  10. That is where we rented our house from when we went as well
  11. Not sure, never stayed there. But my advice is to bypass all the specialty disney hotels. We actually rented a awesome house about 10 minutes from the parks for less than staying at a disney hotel. We had a private screened in pool and a game room.
  12. Wow, that's good info to know. I have been wondering if I should eat that part. I have been eating lots of fruits since I started eating healthy and I love oranges, and I have actually thought about that the other day. Thanks!
  13. I have worked with trustees with I worked for Cobb Parks and my BIL was in Paulding Jail and was a trustee. I know from my own experience with trustees, BIL, and Sheriff Officer friends that most drugs and other contra ban that is in the prisions come from 'trustees'. (I'm not gonna elaborate as to how these guys smuggle stuff back into prison each day!) These guys are nice and courteous and there were plenty that I still remember being friends with while they were trustees, but they are also in jail for a reason. Well, pulling items out and taking them inside the dump office i
  14. Does it concern anyone else that the inmates who work at the dump helping unload people's vehicle are going through the garbage pulling out stuff?? Most saturdays there are inmates who work at the dump. Not sure what all they do, but they have helped me from time to time unload my truck. But I have seen a few times inmates looking through the garbage. Today I was there and they were a few inmates pulling items out and even a dump worker looking through what all they found. #1 - as someone dumping, the general public is not allowed to take anything from the dump. In fact, I believ
  15. Get you some concord grape jelly and put it in a bowl. Make your little one do a handstand against a wall with her head dunked in the the bowl of jelly. Hold her feet so she don't fall over. Hop up and down on one foot singing the theme song to Gilligan's Island 3 times. Once you complete the Gilligan's Island theme song for the 3rd time, take her head out of the bowl and pour a whole box of epsom salt on her head. Now that her head is is covered in jelly and salt wrap her head with aluminum foil. Once you have done that, stand back and laugh. It's not the jelly or the salt of the
  16. It's not really a new idea for companies to hide certain hidden codes of many kinds in their products. This company is not a government run company. It is a private company that makes a good deal of it's profits from private citizens (hunters, shooters, collectors) They also produce a wide range of optical sighting products including night vision scopes. All this is, is a private company exercising it's freedom to label it's products in the way it would like to. I doubt that NO ONE in the military didn't know about this earlier....of course they knew, it's not a secret, but now some

  18. Last year there was someone on here who had a lake and was getting people to pay a fee to fish. Couple of questions... 1. What lake was it? 2. Are there any openings left 3. How much? I'm looking forward to the spring and summer fishing and I want to find a place to take my family regularly. I remember last year some pcom members joined others in paying to fish in a particular lake and if i'm not mistaken had good success. I would like some information on that lake...or others. Thanks!!
  19. My oldest was the youngest in his class as a kindergarten. He was close to last in developing many skills, but over the course of a year did well. Now as a 1st grader (still youngest in class) he has made the A Honor roll.
  20. I think the reason I know we are going to be OK through this economic hardship we are facing is BECAUSE we are still helping even when we are having difficulties ourselves. And I\m NOT talking about the American government...I'm talking about ordinary individuals and families and private organizations sacrificing their own monetary needs to help. Groups like Food for the Poor who won't get worldwide recongnition for their effort, but they will do it anyway.
  21. I'm gonna have to say...... ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!!
