I ran a pvc drain line out the back of my house and put the washer drain hose in it. It works great. Might not work if you are trying to sell the house but as long as you are going to live there it is a cheap, easy and effective fix that causes absolutely zero harm.

Here is a suggestion. I used to have the same problem when we got a lot of rain. I took my washing machine off of my septic tank and just pump the drain water from the washer into the yard. Problem solved. I've never had an issue since then. Much cheaper than septic work.

We have had climate change since long before man ever had any ability to impact it. Are we impacting it now? Maybe. Maybe not. I don't know for sure personally and I don't trust the "science" on either side. As I have said before, both sides have a greater agenda and both sides are not above lying and manipulating studies and data to further their agenda. It seems that climate change has become some people's religion. I personally prefer to worship the Creator rather than the creation. My personal solution? Moderation. I have told them that I am a bible believing Christian and I offer to give them some literature from my church when they offer me literature from the Watchtower. I have never once had them accept my offer.

If someone I don't know approaches me in a parking lot I will politely tell them I am not interested. If they persist and I perceive a threat they will get one warning. If they are smart, they will leave while they are ahead and still in one piece.
