  1. Wow, stereotype and paint with a broad brush much? I would be interested to know specifically what President Obama did to justify winning the Nobel Peace Prize. If the only one that matters to me is a conservative screw you award, then exactly what kind did President Obama receive and specifically, what great things had he done at the time he received it to justify it? And for the record, I have not gone personal in any of this. If it is perceived that I have then I apologize. Why can't we discuss and debate things without it sinking into the gutter of personal attack?
  2. That was exactly my point. So to say that the reason the UN is such a great institution is because it has received a Nobel Peace Prize doesn't carry as much weight now as perhaps it would have carried years ago.
  3. President Obama also won a Nobel Peace Prize and to this day no one knows why. When he won that with no award worthy accomplishments at the time he won it, the Nobel Peace Prize lost any credibility it may have previously had.

  5. I am citing the statistics pointed out several points above our posts Postman.
  6. Throwing money at it is always the answer for any problem I suppose. We are spending nearly triple the amount of the next closest country and as much as 2-5 combined, providing them prime real estate and somehow it's our fault because we aren't supporting them enough? Really? That's a real hard sell folks.
  7. Postman did you even read the link you posted? It said one sentence and that was that the ban on improvements to the UN remains intact. "ISIS, if only our building was just a little bit nicer we would come right over there and put a beat down on you. Lucky for you we need new carpet so we have to stay here"
  8. Also I went back to double check and you said that I said that more Christians were being killed than Muslims. I don't think you can find those words in my posts. Everyone who doesn't believe the same way they do is subject to brutal murder. That includes Christians, Muslims, Jews, Atheists, Gays, people who support equal rights for women etc. As a Christian, I am particularly concerned when I see people who share my beliefs being martyred for their faith. As a Christian it also bothers me tremendously when I see people doing non Christlike things in the name of Christ. I am concerned when any
  9. You and I simply have a difference of opinion. It didn't have to go personal and I won't take it there with you. That was your choice. I do find it ironic that just because we have a difference of opinion that you would never want to meet me or be a part of any organization that I am a part of. I guess if someone doesn't think like you or agree with you on a subject you can't be friends with them. That's both sad and funny at the same time. There is a substantial amount of quacking coming from your direction as well, it just seems to be coming from the opposite end of the political/ideological

And yes, you are right that ISIS is an equal opportunity killer. The UN is a peace keeping force and neither offensive nor defensive. I just don't understand why the arguments of the avowed racists of the 1950s and 1960s are still being articulated today. I just don't get it. If the UN is a legitimate peace keeping force then it stands to reason that what ISIS is doing should be resisted by a worldwide coalition of n

  13. It would be interesting to know the details of these cuts. We didn't cut them under a totally Democrat controlled Congress several times during the 90s when Israel was getting rocketed and terrorized by Hamas and yet they sided with Hamas. We have provided them with a large portion of their funding, given them prime real estate in New York, and diplomatic immunity for their representatives since its formation. We allow Hugo Chavez and the former leader of Iran and many others to come here and slam us on the world stage at our expense. This is the same organization that allows Iran to sit on th
  14. The UN is worthless. If we cut their funds (and I am not sure if we did or not) then they can't do what they are supposed to do? We fund them but they use us as a punching bag. Why can't the other nations in the world, and there are scores of them, pitch in and do their fair share. If "our fair share" is the mantra for everything in the US, then it should be good for the rest of the world too. The UN jumped in to save Muslims from Milosevic in Bosnia and they were right to do that. They carry the water for Hamas against Israel every chance they get. But they remain silent and do/say nothing wh
  15. But, but, but......aren't they the guardians for fairness to all and security for the oppressed? I guess beheading Christians doesn't meet the standard required to qualify as being oppressed. Wonder what their reaction would be if it was Christians beheading Muslims? Think it might be juuussssttttt a little bit different?
  16. Where is the United Nations when they might could actually be useful? They were all over the slaughter of Muslims in Bosnia in the mid 90s (as they should have been.)They make a lot of noise anytime Israel responds to Hamas. But Christians get slaughtered by Muslim terrorists and not a word is spoken. They don't raise their hands to do a thing. Wonder why that is? Things that make you go hmmmmmmm....
  17. Go somewhere that you can have waiters sing to you: Deck the halls with boughs of howwy Fa ra ra ra ra ra ra ra ra! Sorry.....couldn't resist. I laugh every time I think of that scene!
  18. I work in the industry and know many of the partners. This does not appear to have been an amicable separation. These two entities, Pinnacle and Ortho Atlanta, do not seem to be very find of each other right now. I would not expect an expeditious response when one group is asked to give information to the other when they know that means they are losing a patient to their new rival.
  19. Here is what happened. Effective January 1, 2015, part of Pinnacle Ortho was purchased by Ortho Atlanta. The offices by the hospital, in Austell and in Douglasville all became Ortho Atlanta. Most everyone kept their jobs. The Pinnacle offices in Marietta and Woodstock remained Pinnacle. In an effort to maintain a presence in Paulding, Pinnacle opened a small new office on Greystone Parkway. I hope that clears it up.
  20. Kanye West is a total classless punk. The world doesn't revolve around you buddy.
  21. It was bad and according to witnesses it should have never happened and was totally avoidable had the northbound driver not been driving recklessly. I was at the church shortly after it happened
