Yes, Little Martian has turned 16 and Mama Martian and I are trying to find a good, safe car for him at a reasonable price. I had posted before about this and at the time we were kind of limiting our search to mid 2000s Honda Pilots or Toyota Highlanders. Since then, we have broadened our search. First of all, where do individuals list their cars fo sale these days? I haven't bought a used car in years and places like Autotrader, Craigslist etc are filled with dealers. I may end up buying from a dealer eventually but I would prefer to talk to some individual owners first if possible. Is

Fox 5 report says two star players for Allatoona High School's State Championship Football team actually live in the Norht Paulding High School District and NOT in the Allatoona District. Apparently the Allatoona coach and Athletics Director knew about it and did nothing. Oooooops! This might get really interesting. If that is true then they should forfeit every game that they won that those boys played in, including the state championship.

Well, the dreaded day has come. My son turned 16 today and with that comes the beginning of a search for a good used vehicle for him. I would like to find something like a 2005 or so Toyota Highlander or Honda Pilot. Both of those have good safety and reliability ratings. However, I am not committed to just those two models. I wanted to take a minute to post something positive on the board. A few weeks ago, I asked for suggestions about who to call to clean my gutters who would do a good job, be reasonably priced and had insurance in case they damaged my property or hurt themselves on my property. Someone recommended Randall with Affordable Gutter Cleaning. They are a local company and have been in business for a long time. I called and made arrangements for them to come out and do my house, my rental house, my brother in laws house and my neighbors house. He was very friendly and personable and did the job

Without the Resurrection, Christmas would be just another day. Easter should be the most important day on the calendar for Christians. It's unfortunate that we celebrate the birth so much more than the death, burial and resurrection. One person's opinion;)
