Wreck occurred in front of my church. Best I can tell is young girl headed south was hit fatally head on by a guy who witnesses said was driving too fast and erratically northbound on 61. Life flight landed on our basketball court and took him away. He was in bad shape. Our prayers go out to everyone affected by this.

Do you let them go through the cool down cycle or pull them out as soon as that cycle starts? And to Ms Harvey, does the spraying starch on them work? Are they completely dry when you do that or still a bit damp?

I always send my dress shirts out to be laundered and pressed. And by dress shirts, I mean the ones I wear to work. My casual shirts are the ones I am more concerned about. They don't have to be perfect but I would really like for them to look good and not like I had wadded them up before I wore them. Was hoping this new dryer might help some but if anything it has made them worse. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I just bought a new Speed Queen washer and dryer a couple of months ago. Overall, I am pretty happy with them. Here is my question. Do any of you have any secrets to help reduce the wrinkling, especially on dress shirts? I take them out the minute they stop but they are still pretty wrinkled.....noticeably more than with out last dryer. Any suggestions of any kind about how to reduce wrinkling.....even if it's an old trick your grandma told you. If it reduces wrinkles, I would like to know about it. Thank you.

I almost always carry and it is ALWAYS concealed for three reasons: 1. Guns legitimately make some people nervous. Out of respect for them, I keep mine concealed. No sense to make innocent people uncomfortable unnecessarily. 2. If a bad guy sees me with a gun, I will be the first person he shoots before he does whatever he plans to do because I would obviously be a threat to him. 3. I want the element of surprise totally on my side. God forbid, if I ever have to shoot, I would prefer that he never see it coming if at all possible.

Pubby, you might want to re-think the logic of your post. Attempting to link what happened in Ferguson to Republicans would be just as foolish as trying to link it to Democrats. Although I dont usually agree with your positions on things, your posts are usually at least well thought out and logically consistent. This one was neither. Our justice system may not always be perfect (none are) but its what our society is founded on. Let it play out. If the Grand Jury finds evidence to indict the officer then indict him and bring it to a trial by a jury of his peers. If they dont find evidence

21 days isnt a month either. It is three weeks. And our soldiers have no business over there working with Ebola. That is not what they were charged to do when they signed up. I am not a fan of the United Nations but if they serve any useful purpose at all, it should be in situations like this. Why isnt the UN front and center on this issue?
