It wasn't me, but we are there a lot because my MIL/FIL own a condo there. I am familiar with King's Hwy and the Barefoot Landing area. And, if it were me, I would have honked and waved at you!

Lets Be Honest: How Many Of Us Watch The Doctors
Christine0402 replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
You're welcome! Thanks for the topic! BTW, did you see the season premiere yesterday? It was fabulous! I LOVE the fact that they have added Jillian Michaels (fitness fanatic) and Wendy Walsh (pyschiatrist) to the show. I think they will be a great addition and do fantastic things for the show. (And who couldn't use free psychiatric help every once in a while??? hahahaha!) -
I agree with you!

I am *REALLY* hoping that Rachel wins! And this is coming from someone who despised her last season! She really is not as bad as people make her out to be. She makes herself sound like an idiot airhead in her diary room sessions and when she's around Brendon, but I don't think she is actually that way. She is really normal when you watch her on BBAD. I loved the relationship that she had with Jordan because they really did balance each other out. Porsche just wants to be there for the fame and to see what living with roommates is like, although she is decent at competitions (once Jeff wa

Lets Be Honest: How Many Of Us Watch The Doctors

I try to watch them as often as I can. Sometimes they annoy me, but for the most part I find their show very informative. There is nothing better than free knowledge! You never know when something they say could heal you, help you to save a life, help you determine if something is a medical emergency or not, bring up a topic that would make you visit your own doctor, and so on. I have learned a lot from them over the years! -
OW! It's a good thing that you didn't blind yourselves! My BIL's elderly grandmother thought she was putting eyedrops in her eyes but instead used crazy glue! She ended up in the ER and had one serious eye infection! She was lucky, too!

I agree with you 100%! I despised Rachel last season, but I kind of like her this year! She is MUCH better and more normal when she is not around "her man".

Noooo!!! Dang it!

I always do, after making sure that the cops cannot see my taillights go on and off and that there are no cops up ahead. I will also flash my lights if there is a dog near the road, if there is something in the road, or if there is any need for someone to slow down or use caution.

I got her on video this morning

That is absolutely unbelievable. I cannot stand entitled people who think they are above the law. I hope that law enforcement nabs her and teaches her a lesson! -
I tried Yogli Mogli last night. It was okay. I tried the "swirled" yogurts and didn't actually like the way they tasted together. (You can choose individual flavors or you can "swirl" two flavors that are placed next to each other because they supposedly taste good together). I will probably go back, but next time I will do one flavor only. And not fill up the cup as much as I did because it was way too much! My husband loved his.

It's funny that you posted this because just this afternoon I drove all the way out to Cartersville just to go to Hobby Lobby, only to find out that they are CLOSED on Sundays! Hmph! When I worked in Cartersville a few years ago, I used to go there all the time on my lunch breaks. Love that place!

I take B-12 injections twice a month for pernicious anemia. I think the frequency depends on how low/high your iron levels are. My sister used to take the shots every day for 2 weeks, then every-other-day for 2 weeks, then once a week. My B-12 and syringes cost me $4 at CVS after my insurance kicks in. The injections are very easy to give yourself. They are intramuscular shots so they must be given in the muscle. The easiest place is to give them in your arm, about four fingertips beneath your shoulder, where you would typically get a flu shot. Lean up against a wall to push the muscle

I LOVE LUCY is my favorite tv show of all time, even though I am only 36! Anyone who is as funny today as she was 60 years ago is a genius in my book. She was truly a comedienne. And yet, she never uttered a single curse word or made any sexually explicit jokes. She had a lot of class. Her work, namely "I Love Lucy", will go on forever. And I will enjoy watching the ILL marathon on the Hallmark channel all weekend long!

I would love to find a job where I could work from home, as well. I have lots of experience in accounting and customer service. I have advanced computer skills, type 60wpm, and have 2+ years of college completed. I can do just about anything except sales!

You are in my prayers. I am so sorry.

I have no idea. I am not familiar with the back roads in there, just Seven Hills Blvd.
-
From what I heard, her she was lost and her car was supposedly stuck in the stream somewhere behind Seven Hills. The PCSO and DNR were trying to locate her. She was eventually found and she was dehydrated. That is all that I was told. I do not know any information about how she got there or her condition.

When I lived in Cobb County, I would donate my papers to the Cobb County Animal Shelter (Al Bishop Drive, Marietta) for them to line the dog & cat cages with. They were always GREATLY appreciated. I don't know if the Paulding Animal Shelter has a need for them or not, but I know the Cobb one does if you are in the area. I would save up my papers, tie them up with twine, and drop them off every few months. They even have a cart you can use if you can't lift them. I'm sure someone would come out to help you if you needed help, too.

GREAT suggestions, Mom2yana! I looove the Publix sugar-free ice cream sandwiches, too. Also, potatoes, pasta, and rice send my blood sugar skyrocketing faster than any other food. I totally agree with everything you said. Your husband is lucky to have you!
