Not everyone can just turn the ringer off or check called ID. We don't have caller ID or call waiting, just basic phone service because we use our cell phones for a majority of our calls and the home phone is there just for security reasons and for the kids to use. It stinks you can't opt your # out.

I voted No and YES. Yesterday I got about 8 calls in 30 minutes. I wanted to throw my phone out the dang window. The robo calls DO change my mind when it comes to voting.....as in, I'm NOT voting for you if your people have called me. Just like I won't go to your church if you litter my porch with church flyers. We all know what everyone is tryin' to sell. I don't see the need for any solicitation.

I so agree with this. Hardcore Jesus fanatics shouldn't participate in Halloween if they can't handle it falling on a "holy day"

I don't know anything that goes on behind the scenes or whatever but I DO know Mr. Clark was exceptionally professional and took excellent care of my Great Gram when she passed. I've also know him to be compassionate and helpful to families in need concerning payment for funeral services etc.

lol the question wasn't important, important part is that (hopefully) everyone made it out and there were no injuries/lives lost.

Ugh I saw another topic about some free newsletter and signed up and saw my bank was rated a D on there. I don't know if I should freak out and switch or just keep on keepin' on. I mean I guess it doesn't matter does it? Ours isn't on this bank list though.....

Holy crap I jsut read that...yeah I'd be a bit pissed off too! Esp is she told me that!! Makes me glad I don't keep cash. Easier on my heart to turn people away than to lie when I have cash in my purse LOL Um and she must be able to read or write...how can you drive without being able to read? Weird.

She hit me up at Food Lion. I don't ever keep cash on me so I couldn't help her out. My friend informed me she uses the money to buy lottery tickets at Buddys and it's a scam. Sure enough the lady went over to Buddys.....not sure if it is a scam or not.....I mean she doesn't say she wants the money because she has bone cancer....she just says she has bone cancer and wants to sell you some junk.....I'm not judging her because it's not my place and if I choose to give her money or buy her stuff what she does with it is up to her.

Well, I found out we'd have to be paying something like $900/month (or maybe it was $940)....I almost pooed myself over that. *Topic Closer*....go ahead I think I got it from the status shuffle thing on facebook haha

Wow that stinks I may have the info wrong but I do know he said it went up 30% and we pay over $500 now maybe even $600, not sure how much exactly since its through work....it stinks. We don't even use the dang DR. We've been blessed in that way....but then the time we needed to (son had tonsil surgery) even after insurance we're still stuck with an almost $2000 bill. Makes me wonder why we pay so much.
