I've used Checks in the Mail for years and have never had a problem. You can get an insert from the Sunday paper in the coupon section for one of several companies and if you take advantage of the introductory offer, the first box is usually free or less than $1.00. I have also gotten a single book of checks FREE from Vistaprint and then the more you order in your first order, they are less expensive than reorders. I forgot about Current, I've used them too.

My oldest daughter had kidney stones when she was pregnant with my grandson. I swear to you, I've seen Hubby rip at the headliner of the car he was in SOOO much pain and he's super tough, but seeing your pregnant daughter with them, WAAAY not cool.

AZO Standard and ibuprofin, thats what Hubby has done the last 2 times he got one and my daughter does the same thing, that is if they are small enough to actually pass. Both of them have had to have stones extracted because of their size. EEEEEEEKKKK!!!!!!!

Yes, they totally rock!

Looks like the big red K store may be closing too...

Right on the mark!!! As I said, they lost sight of who their customer was. A lot of marketers need to get out more and know who they are trying to sell to instead of guessing at it. -

Yest here is one across the street and there is never anyone there, I don't know how they've stayed open this long. As far as Kmart closing, it wouldn't surprise me at all. Kmart and Sears, their parent company, lost sight of their target customer a long time ago. People went to Kmart for more 'workerman' type things and to Sears for the same things as well like work boots, insulated clothing, warm socks, tools, appliances, etc. They both have tried to go more 'upscale' and I don't think it's worked well for either of them. I did get Hubby some really good outdoors socks at Kmart a f -
'REALLY? Not again'?!?!?!?!?!?!

Me too!! Well, my son in law IS always telling me I'm a 'weenie'!!!!!! Maybe he's on to something. Have you ever seen footage of Vietnam and suddenly the camera falls because the cameraman has been shot or otherwise injured and someone else picks up and keeps going? Pretty scary stuff for sure!

I'm all about reporters reporting the news, but does that mean they have to live it? The idea that they are surprised by violence against them in a hostile and violent environment, is almost ridiculous. Maybe these people are just WAAAAAAAAAY more dedicated than I would ever be, but I'm not going to risk my life and the very possibility that my children would lose their Mom, just to tell someone else's story. But I guess that's just me. As Hubby always says, 'You knew the job was dangerous when you took it'.
-
My question as well.
-
OH YES.......that one for sure!!!

Thank you!!! Hubby could 'refuse' all day long to report a CRIME, but I have my own fingers and can dial a phone myself and would have already called. Why wouldn't anybody report a crime? That's one thing the thieves are counting on.

Reaper, it was about the Devil and it was very funny.

I have one of those too and people think I'm nutso and that Hubby is even nuttier for 'letting' us be friends.

By. Bye as in goodBYE.

It's stories like this that drive home the point that I may be a whacko Mom about 3rd grader, but as along as I'm his Mom, unless he's at school or with his Dad or sisters, I will have my eyes on him at all times. When he is outside, Hubby or I are always out there unless he's in the fenced backyard. I get gigged for this ALL THE TIME, 'You need to let him grow up', 'He's 9, let him go alone', 'He'll be fine'. Yea......well.....whatever!!! There is a family down the street from us and the 7 and 10 year old are all over the neighborhood with no supervision what-so-ever. Hubby has bee

Having a broken heart seems like the end of the world and for you, right now it is. But in the future, when you end up with the right person, you'll look back on this and realize how lucky you were to have dodged a bullet. Try not to dwell on it and try to move forward. Hang out with friends and family, go to school, stay busy and hopefully very soon you'll be able to appreciate the relationship for what it was and focus on the good that came from it..... it's kind of like a learning curve. Good luck!!!!!!!!!

My daughter is a 911 dispatcher in Paulding and I have asked for the same info and she won't even give me a list. She says they have 'codes' for a reason.

It's a pretty magazine as well, glossy with great pics.
-
OMG!!! I can't believe that you wrote this because the second I read the topic I thought, 'I bet they have never heard of 'Garden and Gun' either'. How funny is that?!?!?!?!?! My friend works for a dentist and she called me telling me about this funny new magazine they got in for the waiting room and I didn't believe her when she told me. It is true though because they also have it at Great Clips in Dallas. It's kind of an oxymoron when you think about it......Garden AND Gun......REALLY!?!?!? It's not a bad book, just 2 very different topics in one place.

100 positives for you! You totally get it!!!!!!
