I don't even know how to respond to this post because it is completely heartbreaking! Losing my sister suddenly almost killed me, but losing one of my children would be unimaginable. There are a lot of people who don't tell loved ones how they feel about them, but those loved ones still know that they are loved, just as I'm sure your son knew. Prayers and good wishes sent your way.

I changed to the orange screen which is hard on the eyes, tried the purple and I almost went blind looking at it. I had 2 new PM's and still no notification of any kind. Where is the green circle????? Why is it gone???????????

We have never been as a family and we haven't told 3rd grader yet, so we're pretty psyched!!!

Mine will have a break in February because we're going to Disney World.

I used to get a little green circle on my screen name to let me know I had PM's, and it doesn't pop up anymore. I haven't changed anything, so where did it go?

3rd grader is so excited, we are making crystal snowflakes with Borax and playing games.

I asked Hubby the other day if it was sad that Shel Silverstein was my favorite poet, being a grown up and all. Aside from his, I hate most poetry.

Yea, a negative for liking my husband. Now, we were busy during to holidays.....installed 2 new garage doors, hardwood floor in my sewing room, 2 over the range microwaves, a fence gate and new drains in the kitchen sink. Geeez, that made me tired all over again just typing all that stuff.

One of the sickest parts about this is that they claim to be doing this in the name of God. I wonder which God that is, I want to stay away from him as far as I can.

But a gun dealer CAN refuse. Even if a background check comes back clean and the buyer is talking crazy or threatening someone, the seller does not have to sell the firearm. That liability would be way greater than a lawsuit concerning the second amendment.

WOW! Hubby was home for 15 days during the Christmas holidays and I hated it on the 16th day when he had to go back to work. I love having him home with us. I have felt that way every single day of the 25 1/2 years we have been married.

I don't care what my neighbor does as long as they don't bother me. I don't understand why you would think it was your place to tell or not.

I remember Family Day well. The excitement that you feel when you drive through the gates and the anticipation of seeing your Marine are unbearable and incredible all at the same time. What a cool day for you and your family!!!!!!!
