The legalities of carrying a handgun, concealed or otherwise, has nothing to do with the cost of the permit or where you have your fingerprints taken or where you go to get it. Or if they take cash only, which is also the case. I seriously doubt that that information is in the GA state code for carrying a firearm.

In 4th graders Pil Sung Do, class they learn 'breaks' to help fight off an abductor. Pulling hair, using elbows and knees, soft spots to punch, etc. While I'm glad that they do that, it is no substitution for keeping your eyes on your kids. It amazes me at how many times I've seen kids that seem as young as 4 or 5 in the toy dept of any given store, all alone with no adult around either watching them or looking for them. Let me ask you, if you were a child molester, wouldn't that be the first place you lurk for just such children? What are people thinking, are they really so stupid to thi

In re-reading the OP's original question, they WERE NOT asking about codes and what was legal and not legal, they were simply ASKING about the renewal process. Codes and knowing the law have NOTHING to with renewing a permit. GEEEEEZ!!!!!! Good question in my opinion because they will know what to expect when they show up.

5 Below is a really cool store, like it or not. I haven't noticed that the Dollar Tree in Hiram has made the shopping center go to he!! in a hand basket and I'm certain that the 5 Below won't either.

Not once. NEVER, EVER, EVER, NEVER. NEVER, NEVER, EVER.

I'm much more afraid of people NOT on a list, sex offender or otherwise. There is a registered offender, for child molestation, on Mona Place right by our neighborhood. We see him walking all the time and at Walgreens, he looks just like his picture, and it weirds me out every time. But at least I know who to look out for.

We really are the same person! Ditto to everything you said.

My niece graduated this weekend with a degree in map making. Maybe there is a huge market for that that I don't know about.

Who knew? It's a sad day when you have to take EVERYTHING that the media says with a grain of salt. Why do people blindly believe what they read? 'Well, I heard.........', 'So and so told me..........'. When will common sense ever win out over bandwagon followers and alarmists? Never I think.

Doctors are wrong everyday, hopefully this is one of those times. Praying that all is well.

I've always chalked it up to another excuse for people to get drunk and act bad, just like St. Patrick's Day.........and why do we celebrate that? Oh wait, green beer.

You'd be surprised how often people think that the power company just 'knows' when the power goes off. A month or so ago, Hubby went to a lights out call and these people had been sitting in the dark and hot for almost 4 days. When another neighbor returned home from a trip, they called and he was there to fix the problem within the hour. The couple who had been in the dark asked him why no one had shown up before and why it took 4 days and when he asked when they had called to report the outage, they said 'We didn't call, we were waiting on you to show up'. The power can't fix the power if

The dad supposedly was asleep in bed, woke up the next morning and his wife and daughters were missing. It sounds too fishy to me.

We had ours renewed last year and had to be fingerprinted again and the price did skyrocket. I think it was $65.00 per license and the first time around it was $28.00. It was funny because Hubby lost half of his pinky right before we renewed. When they were doing his fingerprints obviously his missing pinky wouldn't register. It caused an uproar and they had to call IT to override the program and luckily it worked. They were sweating for a minute not knowing how to handle it.

My brother-in-law has had an extremely high paying job and has been hugely successful his entire career in telecommunication sales. A deal that he has worked on for an entire year failed to see the light of day by the year close out on Dec. 31, 2011. The company wanted that sale on its books and he is now in danger of being let go, even though this bazillion dollar deal is still on track to close. He has been so stressed until he decided that instead of trying to spin his wheels, which may come to nothing, he is going to accept it and focus his energies to something he has always wanted to do,

Same thing here and also the blue will stand out against all the white business cards people tend to collect. -
Thats what I thought too, even though it belongs to and is paid for by a private party, it's like federal property. Thats why you can put an ad on the outside of the box but not on the inside. Hoodlums!!!!! Oh wait..........they're just kids having fun, sorry!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have heard all of my life that a 'brick house' is a very well built woman. 'She's built like a brick cheeze house'. No clue what it means, but that is what the song refers to.

We turned ours on in March, the beginning of March or maybe the end of February. Hubby works outside and refuses to be hot (lucky for me). Yup!

I just mean that all of the people who can't find a job and are actively looking may not agree or believe that unemployment is down. My first post wasn't my best worded ever!

I L-O-V-E that song!! My son, 4th grader, LOVES it too, I have it on a cd in the car and he always says, 'Turn that up Mom'. Too funny!!!! But how could they NOT know that song? My girls are 25 and 26 and growing up we listened to every kind of music that there was, some of it from before I was born. You have Little Richard and Chuck Berry, along with all of the American Graffiti era music to Motown in the sixties along with Janis Joplin and Bob Dylan, on into the seventies with KC and the Sunshine band and the Village People, etc. Billy Joel, Elton John, John Denver. And not to forget bl

Try to convince all of the people who can't find of that.
