  1. Just to clarify, I don't think that Obama did this himself.
  2. Unfortunately, I think responsibility has to come before popularity. Hubby and I have been in that situation many, many, many times where his Mom is concerned. When WE finally made the decision to put her in rehab the first time, it was HORRIBLE! I have never felt so drained and beaten down in my life. The 2nd time was a little easier and the third time, we practically dropped her off and said, 'See ya.' His brothers and sister agreed that it should be done, but not one of them had the gumption to make phone calls and tell her that if she didn't go voluntarily, that we had the steps in plac
  3. OH MY!!!!! Thats one reason I don't drink.
  4. It is a trashy bar and unsafe. OMG, when my daughter was pregnant with my grandson, a friend brought her some wings from there and she became hooked. She made an order to go one night, she and my SIL went in to get them and apparently there is a dance floor. W-E-L-L, she said this lady and man were cutting a rug when suddenly the lady took a quick spin and her teeth flew out and clattered across the dance floor. She proceeded to snatch them up, poke them back into her mouth and daughter swears she never missed a beat! Now, THATS my kind of place!!!!! NOT!!!!!  Do they really
  5. I KNOW......it was absurd, kind of like a SNL skit.
  6. OMG!!!!! Thats just what my daughter called her!!!!
  7. We went to Hiram Station the first week we moved here in 1997 when it was still mostly a restaurant. We wanted to support our new community and try new things. It was a Tuesday night around 6:30, we sat down ordered and got our food pretty quickly. As our daughter was saying the blessing, 2 people smashed onto our table, food went flying, I got hit and they were fighting on the table between the two seats. Hubby jumped up and snatched them both up and slung them off into the floor, we quickly got up and left, NEVER to go back.
  8. If that is true, they sure as heck wouldn't be anymore. I don't think anyone of these kids deserves to walk across that stage with all the other graduates. I know......I'm a meanie!
  9. Yep, I forgot about those things. We're looking good here in PC!!!
  10. I LOVE this show and I honestly thought I'd hate it, but I'm hooked. And I'm right there with you about Ray Lee, W-H-A-T was he hearing that I wasn't. She was AWFUL!
  11. I'm surprised that this is such a huge news story. I mean it is huge news for our community, but it's all over the news and I saw the story on Comcast. I'd much rather have our area known for something besides teen vandals.
  12. Are you surprised by that or would you have have expected as much? With some kids, you just never know, parents can be the best in the world and things like this still happen or they can be the worst and never have a problem.
  13. How are they careless? You obviously let your child jump off the dock, were you not careless in letting him do it in the first place? If you knew it was dangerous and water levels were down, why did you let him do it?
  14. NO legitimate email from anyone would ever ask for your user name and password. Scam.
  15. NO KIDDING! I was A LOT more afraid of my mother than any old police officer, thats why I never did anything to get into trouble while I was growing up. I guess my girls took after me in that respect, thank goodness!
  16. Ouch! They don't look too happy in those mug shots. I guess vandalizing.......sorry.........I mean, pranking is much more fun than being arrested. Who knew? Bless their little hearts.
  17. Did someone associated with the pool break your childs leg? Why would you not go back or feel the need to 'warn' others?
  18. Agree 100%, Luke and his team are the best.
  19. I've come to the conclusion that this poster has to be a troll because no real person, with a valid view point, could be this backwards. More locker time and breaks?! REALLY? These are stupid remarks for even the best troll.
  20. :clapping: :clapping:
  21. I didn't say not to hire a lawyer, I asked why criminal charges should be reduced or dropped. And since 2 of mine are grown and have never had ANY experience with the law for any reason, I think I did my job in the front end as opposed to the back end when they are arrested for committing a criminal act.
  22. Why should criminal charges be reduced or dropped for these vandals? They are in fact criminals and they should be accountable for their actions. One of the reasons that kids are such spoiled, bratty criminals these days is because there are no consequences for bad acts. 'Oh they are just kids playing a prank'........bull.
  23. People who have no consideration for others isn't restricted to Aldi, that happens at just about any store you can go to. We're going tomorrow because Thursday it was a crazy house.
  24. This is very interesting, my neighbors daughter was arrested and carted off on Friday and she is a student at EPHS. HHHHMMMMMM!? NOPE....This happened this morning, she must have been doing other criminal stuff.
  25. We have Met Life and I have been very pleased. We had a claim 3 or 4 year ago because of hail damage to our roof here in New Hope, as did a hundred other people. They were quick to respond, the company they recommended for repairs was AWESOME and since then, the premiums have gone up very minimally.
