I wait almost 20 years on my second baby...

From the information that is available and from personal experience, parental rights are not terminated unless the parents are beyond terrible. It would be heartbreaking for the child to know that their parent doesn't love and care for them enough to change and do what it takes to be with them. I would be extremely hard pressed to feel bad for the parent, in fact, it just wouldn't happen. Why should they get any kind of sympathy when they are they cause of the problem in the first place. If they weren't terrible parents and hadn't had issue after issue, rights wouldn't be terminated. Terminati -

Are you concerned at all that these pillars of the community know where you live? Will you have to get a restraining order against them once your new one comes home? The words 'shoot on sight' keep running through my mind. -
I didn't watch either.

No one pays enough taxes to have to pay to clean up someone elses thoughtless littering.

Once again one of my favorite rants..........IF SMOKING IS SOOO GREAT, KEEP YOUR ASHES AND BUTTS INSIDE YOUR OWN CAR. DON'T LITTER THE REST OF THE WORLD WITH YOUR FILTHY HABIT.

I believe that this is the guy who left from the airport, I saw an eyewitness on the news and he said this guy had his hands at 10 and 2 and was driving like a normal person, except on the wrong side of the road. Could he have been trying to commit suicide? I'm dumbfounded by all of these wrong way drivers.

I agree, I'd do it in a heartbeat if I thought there was something going on that I needed to know about to keep them safe.
-
Wow, that is really close to that house.
-
Yep, it was daylight and the truck caught fire and the last I heard on the news, the wrong way driver was burned so badly they haven't been able to identify him.
-
I don't believe that their DD left them. The woman on the news claimed that they all left together with the DD driving and they suddenly pulled over in a gas station and walked away and left them. Left them to go where? Got out of a car to walk home alone? I don't buy it for a second, in addition, the car belonged to an 81 year old man from Marietta and no one can seem figure out why this girl had his car. According to the news, they haven't been able to contact him yet.

We have always held our children accountable for their actions. If our girls, 25 and 27 now, ever came home from school complaining about getting into trouble for one thing or another, talking, not turning homework, doing badly on a test, ect., our first question was, 'Did you talk' or 'Did you turn in your homework' or 'Why did you make a 60 on this test'. Ultimately, they had to admit that it was their own fault that they were in whatever mess they were in and then we would make them say OUT LOUD, how to avoid the same mess next time. They hated it, but after a while, they would spill the be

How in the H-E-!-! is it not your fault when you drive drunk and kill yourself and an innocent person? 'Well, so and so left us, what was we gonna do'? For starters, grammar lesson might be good and let's see...........HHHHMMMMM.............OH YEA, DON'T DRIVE DRUNK YOU STUPID COW. And Propofol................I don't even have any words for that one.

Well, I know that this isn't what your topic is about, but ALL 5 of those people need to be UNDER the jail. I can barely spank a child, much less really hurt one. WHO COULD DO THAT? -

I simply can't imagine the mentality of this family that this child is coming from. Where are the maternal instincts that I wrongly assume all women have? Is she going to be OK from this injury or is that another significant thing ya'll are taking on? That's too scary and sad to think about, so we'll move on. One thing to remember is that she is young and babies are resilient and as young as she is, with the love, care and protection of your family, I'm confident she'll be just fine. Send us her sizes when she comes home, you never know what a savvy shopper like me can come up with! A -
UUUMMMMM............YEA, me too!

This is such a generous and loving that you are doing, I'm not sure that I could, so I highly commend you for it. Do you need anything for this sweet little girl? I think I still have your address and would be happy to help, please let me know. I know that the first response to offers of help are often, 'No, we're fine, we don't need anything', even if you really do. So please, I'm serious, let me know. -
A guy matching this description came to our house today. He was driving an old, beat up Camry and since my daughter was outside with my grandson, we didn't have the option not to go to the door. He wasn't speaking very good English and said that he was getting information on all the kids in the neighborhood such as names and ages for some reason, but he didn't get far enough as to explain why. He was told right quick that he was crazy if he thought that we would share that info with him and that he needed to leave and not return. Really dude?!?!

Hubby takes 10mg everyday. He's been on it for almost a year and has had no problems at all. And the fact that we get it from Publix for free, it's the most painless RX we've ever gotten. Gotta LOVE Publix.

Going into Hiram this morning, thank you!!!!!!

As sad as the losses are, you are absolutely right. I've told Hubby that Heaven forbid I ever get killed in a car crash, to NEVER, EVER put up a roadside memorial where the crash happened. I told him I'd come back and haunt him. More often then not they turn into wet, rotting messes and that's no way for anyone to be remembered. IMO.
