  1. The UPS store in New Hope used to do this but it's closed now and my bank is on Ashford Dunwoody. Where can I have something notarized?
  2. When and if the police decide to fire and kill the suspect, is the car going to magically stop all on it's own? I disagree that a dead guy behind the wheel of a speeding vehicle is better than one who isn't dead. But that's just me.
  3. And who's going to be screaming when the police shoot at a fleeing person, miss and hit your kid? I guess that's OK as long as they keep firing and eventually hit the suspect.
  4. WTH? The sign for a P was the sign for a P long before 'gang' signs were being thrown around. So the entire sign language community needs to change their language as not to offend some fool who thinks a little kid talking to his mother is flashing a 'gang' sign? UNBEFREAKINGLIEVABLE.
  5. My daughters friend hit a biker who crossed Seaboard on the SCT. It is a clearly marked crossing, where the biker has the RESPONSIBILITY to stop, this guy just shot out in front of the car and was smacked right off his bike. When the police arrived, he was pitching a fit because the driver of the car didn't yield to him and he was acting a fool. The policeman made it clear to him that it was his fault for not stopping at the clearly marked stop sign and flashing lights and the biker was ultimately arrested because of his aggressive behavior to the officer and the driver of the car. I figure
  6. When my girls were young and had they been told that any uniform they had to wear was like the one you described, it would NEVER have happened. Why do parents not have the ba!!s to say, 'No. I don't think so'. Since when is a coach or a dance teacher 'the boss' of your kid? My daughter watches Dance Moms and I swear, that show makes me sick to my stomach. The so called mothers of these girls are the stupidest bunch of women I've ever seen on TV. Their daughters are half naked and that fat cow of a teacher treats them like dirt. Who COULD POSSIBLY think that was OK? And for the record, I'm
  7. That is why I'm a self professed nut when it comes to 5th grader. He is the most well rounded, intelligent, funny little kid I know and he has no idea how protected he is. Unless he's at school, the eyes of me, Hubby, one of his sisters or 3 well chosen adults, are on him. I trust practically no one where he is concerned and I couldn't care less if anyone agrees with me or not. It's my job to keep him safe and thats what I'm going to do. In your case, I think I may have killed someone, how could people be SOOO EVIL?!
  8. What if you're a volunteer and don't notice bruises or bumps on a particular child, will you be in trouble for that too? As a volunteer at 5th graders school, I'm well versed in volunteering but not judging a childs injuries one way or another. I hope that this doesn't deter much needed volunteers.
  9. That was exactly my point in my earlier post, you just worded it a lot better than I did I think! :clapping: Seriously? Name calling is SOOOOOO intelligent when trying to make a point. NOT!
  10. People can say what they want, but I believe that is the biggest problem people have with Obama. He's been HATED from the beginning, BEFORE he even had a chance to take office.
  11. Y-E-S, people can be that naive. Scary, huh? Biden is a nut.
  12. Thank you! It's ridiculous that so many people are ignorant enough to continue to believe that the President has control over gas prices. And how is the unemployment rate in GA his fault? Unfortunately, the President, no matter who he is, doesn't have the power that some think he has. The President can't present a bill of any kind and has to rely on someone else to do it for him. And if he can get that done, that bill has to get the votes to pass. If you have people who don't support the President, you'll never get anything passed even of it's a good idea because Congress doesn't have th
  13. I have never heard of a car getting different gas mileage because of the same gas at different stations. HHHHMMMM!?!?!
  14. It's funny because my son-in-laws are terrified of me. I'm the nicest, most gracious, generous person to them both and I really do treat them and love them like my own sons, but they will both tell you right quick that the one you need to be afraid of in our house isn't the muscled up Hubby, but he short lady with the long dark hair. And they're not far off the mark.
  15. Oh, I want my family to be afraid of me, just not because they spilled something!!! Seriously, we couldn't enjoy our own house when we were little and I swore I'd never be that way.
  16. My mother was neurotic about a clean house too. EVERY Friday was house cleaning day, top to bottom. We went through so much Pine-sol, Comet, Pledge and Windex that we should have bought stock in those companies. She mopped the kitchen every night before she went to bed and we had a 'carpet sweeper' that was used every day. No dishes in the sink.....EVER. One toy out at a time, on and on and on.
  17. That sounds just like me. I started with one room at a time about 2 weeks going through the closets, cleaning baseboards, door frames, windows, etc. As far as organizing, I know where everything is when I need it, down to a paperclip. Now, that's not to say that I could tell anyone else where things are because sometimes there is no rhyme or reason to what I do with things. Dust doesn't bother me so much either, clutter is a whole different story. HATE IT!!!!
  18. I got it at the same QT for $3.37 yesterday.
  19. Agreed. It really would be funny if it wasn't so sad.
