What a CUTE kid (Skyler)!! He really impressed the judges, too. I was happy the put him through, though I don't think he's ready to win it. But it will hopefully give him the determination to keep working on it. Yay!

Am I the only one watching? Well, I told lowrider I'd keep her filled in, so here goes: The first couple were cute. They made it through--the judges loved them...but I thought her voice sounded weak. HIS voice though? I thought he sounded great! And as the judges said, their harmonies were spot on. Glad you're watching with me! OMGoodness this girl is HORRID!!

You should NEVER be sorry for caring about the plight of another person, and especially an elderly person. We'll all be there some day. It seems though that this particular elderly lady has a history here on pcom as a scam artist with a gambling habit. There was no way you could have known that when you heard her story and became concerned. It was very sweet that you cared enough to ask here.

Today was the first day of the third week of my brand new job. I found out that my health/dental/vision insurance is so stupid cheap, I should feel like I'm robbing them. I love my husband, my kids, my friends, and my job. It sounds outside like it's going to rain. I and my loved ones are all healthy. Monday will be over in 3 hours 20 minutes. It's good.

I would absolutely CHEER the death of someone who raped and murdered a child/children in the commission of a sexual act. The closet vigilante in me does handstands when people who intentionally sexualize and victimize children meet their end through punishment meted out by a jury of their "peers." The only peer a child rapist has is another child rapist, so while clearly our system is flawed, I'm all for siding with a jury who made a judgment based on the evidence they were presented.
