I called downtown to DDS and asked about using an expired passport. I was told I couldn't do that. I told the woman on the phone that I had presented my birth certificate to get the passport in the first place, did they think I had died and been reincarnated, or what? My paper birth certificate is "somewhere" in this house, but I couldn't find it. Missouri also issues a laminated wallet size birth certificate which I have carried in my wallet for years and years. Anyhow, I went to Cedartown a while ago, expecting to get a temporary license until I could produce a real paper b

The same exact thing happened to one of my former employees..his Jeep did the exact same thing with O2 sensors. We took the Jeep and my OBD code reader/resetter thingy to about a block away from the emissions testing place, reset the code and he went through the emissions, got the certificate, and the light came back on when he was going back to the office. Whew!!

That's all those homeless peepul from the woods out back of the store.

Go by any of the big box auto supply houses and have them read the OBD code for you. It may be a different sensor than what you have replaced. My Grand Cherokee has had a continuing problem with, of all things, an ambient air sensor. Its' sole function is to display the outside temperature on the dashboard, but the dumb thing is wired through something that makes the check engine light come on. I've replaced the sensor 3 times and it will work for a few days and then display 32F no matter what the outside temp is. In the recent cold snap, the actual temp got below 32F and then the

Maybe the license clerk thought your Hubby was a hottie?

Back 18 months ago when the new regulations for DL renewals went into effect, I know there was a big bunch of threads about all the needed paperwork. It seemed that a Passport was about all that is needed, plus a couple of bills, etc. OK, no problem...except, my passport has expired. Will it work, or do I have to go digging through everything in the house to find my birth certificate? And I just went on line to get a renewal tag for my truck. It doesn't require emissions because of the GVW, yet the stupid website says they can't find an emissions certificate on file. Duh. Ther

The one at 120 and Business 6? My last two trips in there were frustrating, to say the least.

Auburn is where it is because of two freak plays, the first against GA, ...and if Nick Satan hadn't let his ego get in the way and gone on into OT, the 109yd runback would never have happened. And as the saying goes, I'd rather be lucky than good, anytime. Mizzou has one loss in 2 OT with a missed FG. Maybe it's time that the boys from MU get the respect they deserve.
-
Yeah. Like Bo Wallace fumbling the ball into the end zone last night in OT at the Ole Miss vs Miss State game. But sometimes you have to root for things that shouldn't happen, like Clemson beating SC or Florida beating FSU or Auburn beating Alabama or the Dawgs beating Tech. In my opinion, the best player in the SEC this year is/was Aaron Murray. How he didn't get into the Heisman talk is beyond me. He holds every record for yardage in the conference.

When you watch the "celebrations" after making a routine play, one has to wonder if there is really a brain to damage. If pro football went out of business today, I'd never miss it.

Data released Tuesday show CNN shedding 48 percent of total viewers since last November and MSNBC dropping 45 percent. The numbers were even worse in the all important demographic of people aged 25 to 54 as CNN’s ratings dropped 59 percent and MSNBC’s 52 percent. In an off-election year, and with last November’s numbers skewed higher as a result of the presidential election, it should be expected for ratings to decline. However, Fox News didn’t see close to these losses. In total day, FNC is only down 18 percent since last November and 30 percent in the 25-54 age de

Ah, more drivel from the leftist media. Why is it when the Muslims kill a bunch of people, the media admonishes us not to judge Islam by the actions of a few, yet when an American kills someone with a gun, the media immediately demands we judge all gun owners by the actions of a few? Pubs, I've had 4 handguns in my house all day long. Not once have they jumped out of a drawer and shot somebody who was doing something stupid. Yet. -

Given that you were replying directly to DHK's comment, I'll assume your comment was directed AT him. I've known DHK personally for better than 10 years. If honest and straightforward makes one an ass, I guess you have him nailed. I'm proud to call him a friend. -
OK...momma dog and a pencil sketch of a pup from a previous litter.

We were in Hilton Head last week and stayed at the "Main Street Inn". Only a 30 room place, but it was fabulous. We had talked about staying in or near Savannah and going on to HHI for our business, but found this place and gave it a try. /hijack

Mentioning Behar and Goldberg in the same breath with the word dumb is an insult to stupid people all over the world.

They are red English Cocker Spaniels. Our girl is imported from Scotland, and the sire is a UK import who lives in PA. The breeding was done with frozen semen by a repro vet. (Read $$$$$$$) Canine gestation is 9 weeks, plus/minus 2 days. The litter is going to have a NCIS theme, dogs will be called Jethro, Abby, Ziva, Tony, etc.

We have a litter of pups due Sunday. Mommie dog is going to the vet this pm for xray to see how many we will have. If you happen to have a stack of newspapers sitting around, I'd like to come by and pick them up. Puppies can go through a whole dumpster full of paper in nothing flat. We are in the EPHS area. Thankya. And, as of now, all the puppies are spoken for between ourselves, the stud dog owner, and another show home.

I was in the library at the University of Missouri, on the elevator going down from the 3rd floor. The door opened at the 2nd floor and someone got on the elevator and said that Kennedy had been shot. I was not at all heartbroken, to say the least. Now, if history will only repeat itself.

I think I have seen those at Homer D. Poe's place.
