I would like for someone who supports this "event/convention/activity center" to actually identify some proposed actual businesses and industries that would use it and for what specific purpose? I've heard vague nonsense about high school graduations in case of bad weather and wedding receptions, but nothing to indicate the proposed usages on Monday-Friday 9:00 to 5:00. Exactly who are the prospective users? This whole thing smells very fishy to me. Like maybe the ringleader here on P.com might just be in the construction business?

Crazy thing just happened. We have a sump pump near the furnace to pump out the A/C condensate and the overflow from the humidifier, depending on the season. Went down the basement just now, and the discharge line from the little pump had frozen where it goes outside the house, backing up the pump. Had to vacuum up a LOT of water off the floor.
