I am going. Just waiting for my coworker to hurry up and finish so we can get out of here!

We are going next Tuesday to try and bid on a car for my son who only has $3500 to spend. I attached the link to their website so you can see what is up for auction and you can also get an idea of what things sold for in the past. Of course they don't give you alot of info but they do give you a vin # in case you want to run a carfax report on something. If you go tomorrow let me know what you thought. http://www.auctionbroadcasting.com/locations/details.aspx?Location=ATL

You wouldn't happen to have the JoAnn Fabrics add would you? If so and you are not needing it I would love to have it. Thanks!

There is a place off of Jiles Road in Kennesaw (behing the Publix) called CC Gaming. HIGHLY recommend them to fix systems. We just took my sons Xbox 360 in on Saturday because it quit working. They called today to say it was $47 to fix and we picked it up this afternoon. I have heard nothing but positive things about them. Take it to them and see what they say.

Two of my co-workers are from Haiti and they still have MANY family members there. Neither one of them have been able to find out any information yet on their families. It has been a very stressful day and I am praying that they will find out some good news in the days to come. I just couldn't imagine the feeling of not knowing.

My husband has this phone and loves it (even though it is older). He just bought a new battery today for it and that alone was $40! Great deal- wish he would have waited a day longer and we could have just bought this!!

My son said - It's so cold the snot freezes in my nose.

I have had that happen to me 3 times but it was at the Marshall's department store in Austell. Same person all 3 times too!

Thanks for all the different views on it. In the end, I don't really care about the age so much as the money thing. I have been very supportive since I have found out. Never said a word to my niece other then Congratulations! When asked my thoughts on the situation by my sister, I simply said I thought it was a bit young but I wish them the best of luck. From that she takes it as I am not being supportive. So what does supportive mean? What am I suppose to do?
-
I know it can work, but in this situation, they are not having to support themselves in anyway. She is going to pay for everything until the complete college (even when they marry in 6 months). If they can't support themselves now, they shouldn't be getting married. By the way- congratulations! I have been married 13 years to a man who is 20 years older then me. No one in my family thought it would last more then a year

Lord knows I tried talking with her, emailing her and she just doesn't get it. I never said a word about how I felt about the situation until she asked. And I didn't say it in a negative way. I sent an email to my niece to explain what happened but she won't respond either. They have both deleted all family members from facebook. Fustrating.

I agree 100%. While some 19 years may be ready for marriage I just don't understand how you can date 1 boy and know for sure he is the one. And why my sister isn't telling them date for awhile and see what happens. Why push the issue? In the 5 months they have been dating, she has bought him a TON of clothes, books for college, laptop computer and a desktop computer (don't know why he needed both), 2 airplane tickets a month, and so much more. Why can't she see what she is doing? It is sad and I just hate to see that she is setting my niece up for failure.

So on Christmas my oldest sister calls me to tell me her daughter got engaged (and set the date for June 2010). She is only 19 years old and just started college (the boy is only 19 too). The kicker is they just met 5 months ago. My sister has basically "bought" this relationship. She is paying for the boy to relocate to North Carolina for college (that is where my niece is going) and is paying for his apartment. She bought the HUGE ring for him to give her. She has paid for them to fly back and forth from NC to FL every weekend to see each other. Oh yeah- this is the FIRST guy she

I can't stand the smell either, so I make my husband cook them in the garage!!
-
My husband cooks them every year and so far no luck with the money thing!! But he will continue to eat them since those are his favorite foods.
-
I got one!! Will be great for those cold days at the ballfields!

Guess I better to call to see what else they need. He is my son- my husband adopted him when he was 6, so not sure if that makes a difference in what they need. Thanks for the info.
-
I don't think I can since I would have to provide the court papers from the adoption. I just found an office near my work! Looks like I will finally get this taken care of (10 years later)!!
-
I thought I heard they came somewhere in paulding once a month, but just couldn't find that information. Thanks.

Does anyone know where the Social Security office is? Needing to have my son's last name changed before he can get his license. Nothing like waiting until the last minute!

Same here! Only ones that DO NOT dry my eyes out. I love them and won't wear anything else!! I sleep in mine every night and have no problems in the morning. I could never do that with the A2's.

anybody ever upgrade cell phone service at walmart
melnsid replied to mystar1's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I do it all the time and it is easy and fast. I have Verizon. It is cheaper because walmart doesn't work off of commission. -
Husband just called and said life flight was at the old Harolds BBQ place off of Highway 92. He said it looked like they had someone wrapped up in something. Just curious as he said he didn't see an accident.

Yikes!! Running to find a blanket- I am shivering from just reading that!!
