Thanks to Pcom 6 months back, I found out that my "spay/neuter pets" tag fee does not go towards the animals more than once, so as I planned, I just went to a regular tag 2 days ago.

One of the most irritating things to me is that if that girl or her friend were injured at all while on that empty property, you betcha there would be a lawsuit against the realtor, the county, etc. The mother would be on the news for her 15 mins of fame, weeping because her daughter cut her leg or foot, or broke her arm , and the mother would be shreiking "unsafe unsecured property", and she would get a lawyer and probably win the case.....

The question that also keeps coming to me, is- in general, doesnt a healthy father/daughter relationship involve the father always ( nature/instinct) wanting to "protect" his daughter, regardless of her age? I dont imagine that when a daughter leaves her teen years, and goes out on her own, a father suddenly loses that instinct. So what is this guy "missing" within him? Same question I had with Woody Allen, and his involvement with his adopted daughter Soon- Yi ( spelling). I wondered then if it was that he didnt have that protective instinct because of adoption? I dont know any of the answers

I am not even sure if this is a topic that is "ok" to put on here? I just heard about it tonight on the Alan Hunt show. His lawyer believes that it is unfair he is getting into trouble for this ( 1 count incest) because she is a consenting adult, and therefore is just as responsible as he is, so shouldnt she be prosecuted as well? ( this is LAWYER questioning, not ME questioning!) Also the next question people are asking is- " Should we be looking into bedrooms and deciding what is right and wrong between two adults?" People are TIRED, WORRIED, FRANTIC, ETC. And with good reason. Some of the loved ones out there are in wrecks, in ditches, spun out, and scared. There maybe ederly people out there, there may be someone with a child, or with children in the car. The emergency personnel are stretched thin, are doing their best to help everyone. Not especially a good time for humor of that sort. JMHO. That is all.

...and it's still shut down.....- hubby has now been on Hiram Sudie for 2 hours, 1 mile from home. He is now going to sleep in the car, he has been dozing, but he is giving up and going to sleep now. There are no salt or sand trucks nearby, they are still down by Mulberry Rock, so this is looking like another 3-4 hour wait until the road opens up

We live up near Davis Mill crossroads. Hubby got onto Hiram Sudie 1 hour ago from Bill Carruth. He is still there. He left work in Atlanta at 6pm..... He is wondering ifits worth just leaving the car and walking..he says the other side of the road is sheer ice, so he doesnt know that turing around is the smartest thing to do.

My daughter and her friend were discussing favorite colors- and I overheard them both say ORANGE is their favorite color..Orange? Thats the first time I have ever heard orange picked as a favorite! I really dislike orange clothing, so theres that. Things that I LIKE that are are..oranges, pumpkins, sunrises/sunsets, candy, candles, fall leaves, some fall decorations. I cant think what else would be orange that I like- can you? oops- orange popsicles also...

My daughter was sick way back on Oct 8th. She had a severe sore throat, ear pain, congestion, lethargy. Never much of a temp. Went to doctors when her coughing got so bad her ribs hurt. Xray showed no pneumonia. Went home with an inhaler, nasal spray. Not improved after 2 days, he called in antibiotics. Improved during the following 10 days. during this time, approx Oct 10-14, I got a minor headcold, some congestion, lasted until about the 22nd, not a huge deal. Then my husband felt " off ", slightly nauseous, starting the 20th. He stayed out of work ( never does this )for a day and went downh

My father was cremated, and his ashes were scattered by his children from a boat on his beloved Chesapeake Bay, Maryland. My mother was cremated and her ashes were scattered on the top of a very special mountain in New Hampshire, by her children, as to her wishes. Were we allowed to climb the mountain to scatter her ashes in the wind at the top? Probably not, dont care. I myself will be cremated and I want my ashes to be part of either a beautiful wildflower meadow, or an Audubon Sanctuary...

I was the one who started the Bill Carruth rant. I guess I didnt clarify myself well enough.
