They are opening within the month, and are looking for front of house and back of house help. Sister locations are " The Place Bar and Grill Marietta location ( Sandy Plains and Canton Road) and " The Place Bar and Grill " ( Townlake in Kennesaw). I know the Marietta location pretty well, as friends and I often dance there on Sat nights. We are hoping that the new location will work out well because it would be nice not to have to drive nearly an hour to dance! If you are interested in work, contact them!!

Guess what- my livelihood depends on my gas tank being full- I drive about 5 hours a day to complete my service work. I fill up every other day. When I heard - I had 1/2 a tank. Guess what I did.

I am pleased at this point to have a (possible) place in Hiram that might have dancing!

I will be interested to see if they 1) put in a good dance floor, and 2) If anyone in Paulding will go out and dance ( not country line dancing!)

My friend lost one recently she uses that Publix because she lives off of Bobo Road.The band she had was blue

My friend shops there( she lives off of Bobo Road) and lost hers recently- blue band. She can't remember if she lost it in that area though.

Ok,I was born and grew up in Pennsylvania (Philly area)and then at 17, moved to New England. I have been bullied horribly by white people in my life, and also bullied horribly by black people in my life. I come here maybe once or twice a week ( Unless something major has happened or is happening in Paulding )at the most now. Its too loaded with toilet paper posts for me. ( I think that toilet paper should have its own forum, just like the" Too Much Business News" created years ago. it could be called " Excessive Toilet Paper") I was a devout fan and proud member of Pcom... until politics, planes, and "paper" . Now, not so much.

I believe my handicap is that I never was taught about religion as a child, so I am missing the most basic tenants that believers have. I would like to know if there are any people out there that are like me raised with no religion whatsoever. There is no way I can ever know faith in a childlike unquestioning way.

I have no specific religion. It eludes me, and I reallydon't seek it out anymore, however I consider myself spiritual and I do pray intermittently. Raised with no religious training, by a former Swedish Lutheran raised mother who turned Agnostic and then New Age, and a Methodist raised father who stopped caring about religion ( was an engineer ), religion was a painful thing for me, as I grew up among some kids who were nasty, who happened to be Catholic. Ugh. I have done it all, voted liberal, voted conservative, voted libertarian, and refused to vote or didnt bother, as far as voting my beliefs. So there. I guess I am more libertarian/moderate in some ways. I have lost faith in the system.

Wondering if the cold winter killed them off? I have had only 1 butterfly so far...usually my butterfly bushes are covered in them..although they were about a month behind in bloom, so maybe that's it..I also offer to them scarlet bee balm, purple coneflower, blackeyed Susan, butterfly weed, petunia, lily, liatris, morning glory, etc...the absence of the bumble bees I understand ( so sad....) but I thought I might see more than one butterfly so far?
