  1. My husband said Leonardo Dicaprio gave a million dollars. If all of those stars would do that maybe it would at least make a dent in the recovery efforts!
  2. My mom used to say if you dropped your dish cloth that meant someone was coming to visit
  3. Thanks -- probably the easier way to get to it LOL! I just didn't know how to do that!
  4. She is listed at Austin Middle School- under staff on the paulding.k12.ga.us website-then click schools then click Austin Middle then staff- the staff is in alphabetical order- it looks like she teaches some sort of science maybe.
  5. My husband goes to her and loves her!!
  6. I think you're also supposed to put their pillow in a sealed bag for 48 hours. It's horrible stuff! Just be persistent! Keep checking and keep repeating the treatment until it's all gone!
  7. Our favorite has always been September right after Labor Day too!

  9. I think companies set their holiday schedules and how they will pay for those. They have to know that not all people within are going to observe each and every holiday that they recognize as such. Therefore, I don't believe it is immoral to receive pay from your company for these holidays. JMO
  10. The times we went in September (which were from 1997-2002) the weather was beautiful! It was not too hot at all! Also, statistics show the first week after labor day is the least crowded time of the entire year. Of course it has been several years since we were able to go in September. I agree- never go in August- hated June- and hated July! Never been in October but I'm sure it's beautiful!
  11. agreed- been there then too- it was miserable!
  12. that would probably be a good idea!
  13. October is probably a great time to go! Depending on when in Nov. and Dec. you're looking at holiday rates- of course that means they'll be ridiculous!
  14. we went in june last year and it was gay pride LOL!!! june is miserable! when our daughter was smaller we would go the first week after labor day (of course we pulled her out of school- which we couldn't do once she hit middle school) September is definitely the best time if you can go then! the weather is still beautiful and the rates are sooooooooooooo much cheaper!
  15. June is a miserable time to go in my opinion!
  16. completely agree! the only time we got in our car was to go to walmart and stock on food the first night we got there!
  17. we're in the disney vacation club- so we never pay for our hotel which is wonderful! We stay at the boardwalk which is like a little condo- it has a kitchen in it and 2 bedrooms! we love it. but definitely the family dining plan is a good idea for a family of 5 and probably somewhere like caribbean beach or coronado springs or one of the all star resorts (although the rooms there are fairly small -especially for a family of 5)
  18. What kind of budget do you have?
  19. I'm pretty sure they told her 01/23/2010.
  20. Just the kids- the adults side (Abercrombie and Fitch) will remain open.
  21. I don't know about The Disney Store but, my daughter works at Abercrombie (the kid's store) and they are closing.
  22. I would read it! I love Paula or Rachael Ray (only Rachael makes some really crazy stuff sometimes!) Or down home with the Neeley's! Good luck!
  23. A Baptist missionary was walking in Africa when he heard the ominous padding of a lion behind him. "Oh Lord," prayed the missionary, "Grant in Thy goodness that the lion walking behind me is a good Christian lion." And then, in the silence that followed, the missionary heard the lion praying too: "Oh Lord," he prayed, "I thank Thee for the food which I am about to receive."
  24. I was 18 when I got married and we were married 24 years this year. My sister was 17 when she got married and will be celebrating her 29th anniversary in Jan. I don't think it's the age so much as it is how mature they are. However, I completely understand your concern! Good luck to everyone!
