thank you! i have already had 3 kids tell me that they saw what happened- but the other girl is claiming she has a teacher witness but no one will tell me this teacher's name.

I am so sorry that you had to go through that!!! Right now my agent has just asked me to pay our deductible and he would then fight the fight for us. I'm not sure what that means or what they are going to do- but I figured I should go ahead and get witnessess and do whatever I needed to do in case I do have to take this to court.

i didn't take as directed towards me! thank you! hopefully it will all work out! i just have to leave it in the Lord's hands! thank you! you know-- that's the thing- we're not trying to claim any kind of injury or anything like that- we just want the car fixed. we're not trying to get anything extra out of it- we only want the car repaired.

i only thought i had the case locked up because 3 police officers told me that my daughter was not at fault- but that obviously didn't matter at all. my agent has said he will fight this for us so i guess i'm going to let him do it.

thank you! good advice! i'm sorry that happened to you! that's like the adjustor for the other girls company told me that the other family was more adamant than i was about who was at fault. i said what does that have to do with anything? i know who was at fault- and the police agree. i wasn't sure if he was telling me i should be calling him 20 times a day or what-- i'm not sure how much more adamant i can be! i guess it's true what goes around comes around. not that i wish harm on anyone because i certainly don't!!!

it seems like if you had a line of cars behind you that someone would have seen something. But, of course, now it's too late and you would probably never find any of them unless someone was on here who was behind you. I'm so sorry this happened to you! Good luck with everything! Thanks! I am definitely feeling defeated on this- I guess maybe we should just pay our deductible and let our insurance company fix the car. I just don't want our insurance to go up for something our daughter didn't do!

I'm with you- I am very involved in my childs life! (I'm sure more than she would like ) but you have to be! I see what you mean- if the parents aren't really going to do anything but yell and scream then that's not really the result you're trying to achieve. However, you have done your part and then you know that if something does happen - you didn't just sit back and watch and not say anything! I'll be praying with you! I hope everything turns out o.k.!

If it was your kid how would you wanted it handled? Then that's the way I would handle it. As a parent I would want to know so I would hope someone would tell me!

It's not Geico- but that sounds exactly like what we are giong through! They did list the other girl as the #1 driver and that's what the officer told us- that since she was listed number 1 she was the at fault driver. But, like you said her insurance co. is not accepting that. You're right- this has definitely been a learning lesson for all of us! My daughter is learning real fast that others don't always take responsibility for their actions!
